Glasgow Rangers have cemented themselves well and truely into the Book of World records by successfully winning their 53rd championship title, even in the face of financial devistation.

Oh I do hope shelic keep Lennon as manager.

Well done Queens Eleven!

How many years since a team other than Celtic or Rangers won it?  Do the history books go back that far.

Yes Super swally on the right.

As for the last time anyone else outside the auld firm won it, does it matter, what about the Spanish League same, German League same, English League same, get over 2 or 3 teams have dominated every league for years.

Nobody cares: erm I don't think so, I am 1 of millions who care numb nuts, it is called passion something arsenal fans don't know, you know that feeling of actually winning something, well I surpose it was only the double this year

Never boast about winning the Scottish cup.  Please.  It's embarrassing.

Rangers are still considered our brother club at Chelsea, and there are plenty of us who are delighted they've won the Scottish title again. Rangers (in our pre-season friendlies) is the only one of our games I can think of, where there is no home or away end. And we still get plenty of blues brothers for our games up north and at the Bridge.

Congratulations to the 'gers, especially in the face of such financial difficulty.

Three for me, and two for them.

If we played in the SPL we'd walk it every year without losing a game. Not much of an achievement though.

Erm, 4 Spanish clubs won La Liga only this decade, at leat 4 German sides won the Bundsliga this decade (perhaps more, can't be bothered checking now), and 3 English clubs won the Premiership.

No tquite the same, is it, especially when you also consider the number of other clubs these countries put out in the Champions League.

I think the point is that even though most leagues are dominated by a select few, the gulf to the rest of the teams isn't as significant as they are in the SPL. Other than hearts coming second a few years ago, no other club has even come close to breaking into that top two in recent memory.

Look no one is saying the SPL isn't won season after season by 2 teams, it so happens one of those teams were in the Final of the UEFA cup last season and are on the brink of bankruptcy and still win the league against a team with money, this is probably one of the best wins that I can remember, after helicopter Sunday that is!

So if anyone on here supports a team be it in A-League, kids league any league, they would be proud if their team won the league, so suck it up and put up with us being happy at winning our league.

This my league is better than you league sh1t can go on forever and no doubt will, that is what football is all about, in fact most Rangers and shelic supporters would no doubt agree, about the EPL being an awesome league, probably the best in the world, but there are other leagues and other teams, hell we are all on this forum, a pro team in outback NZ after all.

I will keep celebrating my teams awesome victory in the face of

I care about the SPL...

... If only to see how Old and McGlinchey are going.

When you have Champions League teams and then a team with a Phoenix reject in it in the same league, you really can see just how much of a gulf there is.

You disappoint me, LG.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

I know that place well! I used to hang out with the 'gers fans in NZ every so often to watch games. Likewise, they all used to watch Chelsea games when they were on. It's the same here too, both sets of blues supporters share the same pubs before friendly games - always a fantastic atmosphere and we still get people wearing 'gers shirts to the Bridge.

I hope you manage to keep Walter Smith and that a buyer comes in post-haste.
