What he said.

The similarity to Torres and a certain Michael Owen is really too great.

While Andy Carroll has a lot to live up to following that transfer fee, Nando will have to really up his game if he is to get many minutes considering Europa League side Chelsea's striker depth. Unless he starts to find some great form and play like he did last year, he could be a very expensive squad player. Surely Europa League side Chelsea didn't buy him to bench him, but I can see that being the reality down the line. Carroll on the other hand will at least remain starting, one should think.

But after today, who really knows anything about football anymore?

Torres, how can you play footy with your foot in your mouth and the other one in plaster

Torres for me too, waaaaaay too much money for someone with his fitness record. It's the equivalent of paying, say, 10 mill for Jonathan Woodgate or Kieran Dyer. Madness.
Nix, Leyton Orient and Alloa Athletic supporting schmuck.
