Couldn't find a thread for Wolves followers.  A long season ahead and hoping they stay in the Premiership, but at least they have some early points under their belt

Can anyone please tell me how Michael Mancienne is going at Wolves.

f**ked if I know. He developed at QPR, obviously we weren't rich enough for him! Still he'll be playing Championship football next season anyway.

True. I can see him as being Terry's replacement eventually. The boy has a heap of potential and talent.

He has actually been pish.  He is far too soft at the moment to hold off moderately powerfull front men.  I'm not sure how Wolves fans feel - is he the best McCarthy can put out on the pitch?

He is quick mind so maybe a move away from centre half is what he needs.

How old is Leggy?  Is he 12 or 72?

Is he playing Centre Mid? I thought he moved away from that when he was like in the Chelsea Youth Team.

Centre-Mid, Centre-Half it's the same thing - is he playing in Midfield for Wolves, or is he playing as a right or centre back, where he usually plays. ChelseaFCmhr2009-10-10 10:57:34

Just can't get the points. Another point today and still stuck in the bottom five. Need to get a couple of wins.

Look on the bright side, you wont be playing us next season! Also, the financial future of Wolves has been saved.  Despite my remarks, wolves have a long proud history, who knows maybe the players might realise it and play for the badge and not their wallets.

McCarthy quote re: game vs Arsenal

"I won't be sat with a beer in my hand thinking 'we just let them just roll us over and tickle our belly'.

"I watched AZ Alkmaar at Arsenal, a fellow Champions League team, who over the last few years have won their league, have been fabulous and have some great footballers in there.

"Yet they got slapped completely when playing one up front, sitting back. They got played through, round, over, they just got mullered completely. We will try and play on the front foot."

My wife is originally local to the wolverhampton area, so we've decided to take our Phoenix family to see Wolves v Man City when were in England over Xmas. It'll be our first experience of a premiership match. Any tips for the Molineux etc? We're going with a 6 year old, so were planning on sitting in the Family zone they have.

I think that might be a universal rule and no-one can play against their parent club.

Don't worry lad. You can leapfrog us soon enough. We have you lot, Villa and Spurs next, I believe. Should see us get a minimum 0 points and, depending on your fixtures, that should be enough for you to overtake us. I reckon you should be targeting Birmingham, mate. They look well class.

Watched highlights of your fellas game this morning, I'm loving the music played at Molineux as the teams walk out; "Come on feel the noise" by Quiet Riot.    VERY Birmingham.

Huge, huge game tonight  Whoever wins should be safe for another year at least. Hoping we take at least one point away, but would prefer all three.

Well that was a very impressive performance! Safe I think, Burnley and Hull are so dreadful that I'd almost suggest West Ham are OK as well, but that 3 points is critical.

I always hope as few teams that come up the year before go down.
