PAO has been dominating in basketball this year (5-0), i think this year we can defend our title but it will be tough.

 

Ahh no GATE 13 are not pussies re pao1908, last encounter with fenerbache was a few years ago in football and gate13 had fun with the turkish police. on the return leg gate7,13,21 all offered fener fans tickets for free but.....the cowardly turks didnt show up....typical turks..

and yes osfp and aek gates went to "support" PAO

Aris have a great home advantage, their fans are very passionate...also completely insane but thats another topic all together

this game was influenced by the fans, around the 30' mark an Aris fan threw a flare at aek defender Dellas. In retaliation the 1,000 odd AEK fans started throwing projectiles and flares at the Aris fans, 44' a cop went onto the feild and told the ref to call half time so they could remove the AEK fans. The ref waited 5 minutes for calm and then played the injury time, during which Dellas tried to calm the AEK fans down. they continued to stand off with the cops after half time was called.

 

the 2nd half did not begin untill 800 of the 1000 fans were removed from the stadium....i guess they had the last laugh though.

 

this is the first time i have seen or heard of away fans being "removed" from the stadium....I saw all of this unfold on the TV, there were some pretty pissed off fans on both sides. not many people know but ARIS have very dangerous "thires", more so than any club in Athens

 

either way this was a terrible result for PAO

word is that paseiro will play a weaker team and most likely play to draw because we have already qualified for the knock out round. We have a big game oin the league this weekend vs Iraklis who are 8 games undefeated in a row.

 

I mean we must eventually score!!!!

 

ALSO twill be good to see NINIS play a bit more, i have high hopes for our little striker!!!

this was such a sh*t performance by PAO, the 1st goal was salpi briliance. Thje second was the only good piece of football in the entire game. N'DOYE set himself up amazingly around the 60' but he thumped it into the keepers hands

 

yea PAO played badly but we still won so I dont care, the real test will be against MADRID and IRAKLIS (in a few hours)

 

I hope that we beat Iraklis but they are playing well at the moment
