Now to get my hands on a tellie. Awesome news.

Also, is that an England player in the banner?

It is. Oh the irony.

Three for me, and two for them.

Classic.

Yeah its Joe Cole. But no European Glory for him with club or country.

Nani and Ronaldo, however will do the club and country double with Man United and Portugal being European Champions.
Oh Wellington is wonderful. We got the wind, the rain and the phoenix. Oh Wellington is wonderful.

fred de jon or whatever his f**king name is should be shot after what he said in the june skywatch
think tommy smyth is bad this guy is 10x worse
crap like:
"jens lehman is one of the beast goalis in the world"  which is why he what 3rd at arsenal now (class act but probably not anymore)
"i don't think germany has lost since the 2006 world cup" geez want to check that on the internet mate?

will never forget this one:
"poland were at their strength in the 70's and 80's performing really well in the world cup making the semis twice and also played well in the european championship finals"
harry ngata "they've never actually made the european finals"
fred "yeah.. well... they did well in qualifying thats what i meant by that"
again would be prevented by simply looking at the internet. he was somewhat right by his last point about doing well in qualifying with out actually making it (but thats another story). if he bothered to look on the internet he would've found that poland ever made the semis of the world cup once. but then again using a computer might be too advanced for him.

Technically, Poland were in the semi-final only once - in 1982, however they finished 3rd twice, also in 1974, when there were no "official" semi-finals at all, but their last second-stage group game against West Germany was a de-facto semi-final.

I have to agree though that de Jong spouted some major rubbish in that article.
It's pretty clear that he doesn't/hasn't followed European international football of late.

awesome that its on prime tv, the olds still refuse to pay for sky despite my constant nagging...

The best one i reckon from De Jong was "The difference between Euro and the World Cup is Euro is more of a football tournament".

Care to explain how so dumbass?

why is prime only showing crappy pool games? the only decent one they showing is ITA vs FRA. they should be showing all the pool of death games. i wont get to see any netherlands games until the semis and final!

Because sky want you too pay for their services. They'd be pretty stupid to give them all away for free.

Czech Republic vs Switzerland tonight...It won't be a classic but the Czech's are a decent team and being a sky-less person I'm just happy to see any football on free to air tv.
