Re: armbands, FIFA rules are quite clear.

FIFA goes to great lengths to ensure that kit, grounds, etc are to all extents neutral and free of political distraction, (and make sure their sponsors are rewarded).
They have rules in place and sometimes no matter how honourable you may view the breaking of the rule, to allow the rule to be broken can create a minefield
