event passes work for things like UFC, Tournaments and one off matches, and as long as they are fairly priced I have no issue with them, the difficulty you get is when you get to showing longer comps like the EFL. If they stick to doing the one of Comps then sweet.

I assume it would be a League Pass or something and maybe priced at say $199 for a seson of EPL or NRL or the like...

yeah, this may work if you only want to watch that league, but if you add that cost ontop of all the other costs for watching sport it gets super painful.
