Vamos lá, Brasil!  (  I had to look that up. )
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's living in Agadez, Niger.  Spending more time in town, Agadez, as bad people in the desert are spoiling the good life.

Scots verus Haiti. After our 4-0 thumping by the Haitians will be a very interesting watch.

Scots hit the post. "First time a Scottish player has hit the woodwork at WC since Graeme Souness against NZ in 1982."

Haitians doing better overall though. Scots struggling against their bigger bodies.

Both sides look like they are chasing the win, Scots will be well aware of whart Haiti can do, apparently their coach watched the 4-0 win overs us.

Stats favour the Scots

There were about 15 mins there where Haiti were the dominant team. McGinn's goal just after the mid half drinks break, a bit against the run of play, plus took a big deflection to wrong foot the Haiti keeper,.

Sense Scotland are going to be more clincial. As the commentator says they are dangerous down the flanks. Haiti lacking the final pass down the other end. But yeah pretty even overall.

Think this is putting the warm up game in context. This Haiti are a very good team who are seriously under ranked, and they were ready to go. We were very much at the start of our preparation!

Surprised the McLean challenge wasn't reviewed by VAR. Looked very studs first as well as high.

1-0 win the Scots. Haiti let down by some poor quality final balls.

Actually it felt a little bit like watching the AWs. Pretty much sharing the possession stats but the Woodsman not getting much of real quality to work with. Pierrot their striker with the big moment an open header he put narrowly wide.

Think Brazil and Morrocco will be a level above in this pool, so a very crucial win for the Scots.

I think Morocco will be too good for Scotland, but could steal a draw vs Brazil

Fascinating story about the Moroccan team. At one stage against Brazil none of the eleven in Morocco shirts were born in Morocco.

Interesting how it all works. Russia has been banned from all FIFA and UEFA competitions since Feb. 28, 2022 following the country's invasion of Ukraine. Morocco which invaded Western Sahara, and is still in a war if occupation there, can still compete.

Come on Scotland!!

Scotland game was the worse refereeing performance so far. Decided that Scotland were hard men and gave nothing. Thought there was two penalties there.
