Saudi's causing Uruguay some issues, very physical, they lead 1-0 after 45 mins.
This is what we need to do against Iran,

Well he lives and plays his football in Miami these days.

Seeing how well his mate Messi is still going in the MLS & Argy national team, surprised Bielsa didn't pick 39 yr old Suarez, if just for cultural architecture.

Great effort Capo Verde. 2-2
Heard the commentator say one of their starters plays in the League of Ireland with Shamrock Rovers!

Can the AWs match that result?

It's a great story - the player was contacted by the Cabo Verde FA on Linkedin to ask if he wanted to play for them. He figured it was spam, and also couldn't speak portugese, so he ignored it. Only accepted the call up the following year when they re-sent the message in english!

You forgot racist.

As much as I dislike the guy, he's always loved his national team. Which I can respect.

I think he'd still be better than Darwin Nunez.

Three for me, and two for them.

I remember the good old days back in 2010 when the most  three draws would get you was a seat on the first plane home. Well done Cabo Verde.
