Im sorry England fans but I'm so hoping Croatia win this.
Already a pen in Englands favour, Kane misses but its a retake for encroachment.
I hate the stutter approach, just smash the thing!

Kane does just that and England are under way!

Why would anyone apologize for not supporting a team????

comes from a place of understanding that certain English fans have an expectation that every colony will naturally support their team - perhaps misguidefd, perhaps not

Croatia pushing the English, but England seem to be fighting hard and dominating possession, lead doesnt look confortable though.

NZ has not been a colony since 1901 so not really relevant.

Poor first half but brilliant second half from England.

Need to shore up a bit at the back but looked great going forward.

Three for me, and two for them.

No, not a colony at all. We just have the heads of British monarchs on our coins because we love them soo much.
I have an amazing ability to find my way out of mazes. I'm pathological.

Well, being pro England is not a prerequisite for being a New Zealander by choice.  England have enough people cheering them on in football.  Me, I was stoked for the Democratic Republic of Congo. Now their game against Portugal was a success story right there.  Same with Cabo Verde against Spain.

I do think it's a bit silly for fans of Premier League clubs not just don't support England, but straight out detest them.

Comparable to those Auckland FC fans openly supporting the Socceroos against the All Whites at Mt Smart. All it seemed with British accents

Difference being I guess is they actually live in the country of the club team, they support (or one of club teams they support)

The stutter penalty. What's an appropriate sanction for its use?
  • Red card.
  • Yellow card.
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's living in Agadez, Niger.  Spending more time in town, Agadez, as bad people in the desert are spoiling the good life.

it's perfectly legal as long as there isnt an actual stop in motion

It's a stain on the beauty of the game.

100% agree, the only way it changes is if FIFA bans it.
