And yeah quick rank is different it's pretty much for sh*ts and giggles but the interactive world cup is a FIFA endorsed tournament where you can go somewhere and play in the finals with about 30 other people. you gotta be in the top 2 in a month, so it's pretty hard. last year was different cause they done qualification by confederation.

playing a season of the premier league with fulham on legendary. sh*t start to the season, having United, Chelsea, Liverpoo and City in the opening rounds. top 10 finish should be well achieveable

hadnt played for quite a while. picked it up again the other day and i see now why i stopped playing. what a terrible fifa this one was. really hoping 12 is alot better

Can't wait to get my PS3 and Fifa 11!! Moved to China for work recently. But getting me mum to bring over the PS3. Used to play it with mates back in NZ, mostly career mode.

Lag doesn't seem so bad when playing online games. The lag is pretty tolerable to good when we were playing our mate online who was in Nevada, USA.

Current game we're player managing Bochum in the German 2nd Div. Got up to Bundesliga after season 2, and now in the top 5 hoping to get into Europe. Managed to sign Micah Richards somehow, along with Sergio Asenjo, Taarbat, Phil Jones and also go Canales on Loan.

Only playing on Professional though... Used to be able to rip it up on World Class on the old PC, but not on ps3 :/Crockett2011-03-20 06:15:34

I have recently changed my camera angle to tele from pro and my fifa experience has increased ten-fold, I wish someone told me this earlier haha.

lol screw playing in pro haha. How did u not notice that before hand

 
may give that a go myself.

I only use pro view when i am being a Pro. I find that I lose track of what is happening behind the ball when i am playing as the whole team in pro view, so I keep it on Tele.

In other new: the Phoenix just fired me in Career mode (Player Manager), and I just got signed to Brisbane. Hope this goes well.

What control settings do you guys use?

I use:
Manual - short pass, lob pass, shooting (has its advantages, but man do I miss some sitters lol)
Semi - crossing (and sometimes passing re:above)
Auto - through pass
Pass power assist - off
Autoswitch - 1 bar from the left
Autoswitch assist - off

Rumour has it that Steve Claridge maybe replacing Andy Gray. God I hope not. Claridge is a clown at best. I'd rather they went back to Ally McCoist if they decide to replace Gray.

Here's a small explanation of what the files are

Carnival entry - The song that gets played when the Nix score a goal

Carnival de Paris edit - The same song, but is the original version (I set this as the entry music)

The rest of the chants are just in-game chants, put them all into a playlist on the PS3, and set that playlist as the chants in FIFA.

No problem, most of them are from the YouTube video of the 07/08 game against Sydney, I have been looking for other chants, but can't find many.

Im thinking of taking a nice stereo mic to the first game of the season and setting it up at the front of the Fever Zone, would get really nice quality chants that way.

Just completed playing a 46 game NPower season with QPR and my nephew under Career Mode in "Professional" settings. First ever time I've been promoted to the EPL. Debute game, we beat West Ham 5-0. Target - to avoid relegation.

I am doing the same thing, But with Portsmouth. 1st season I played the level up from professional and just missed out on making it to the EPL. This time around I am playing at professional level. Top of the table and in the final of the league cup against MAN UNITED

do you guys find that playing on pro difficulty you can defend ok, but find it hard to make chances to create goals? thats my prob. so many 0-0 and 1-0/0-1 :S.

oh and manual shooting rules.

Yup I do find that is the case. It is really easy to tackle as well

yea i had that problem for quite a while playing on world class, alot of 1-0 and 0-0 results. not so bad these days, won the epl as fulham. still alot of things about the game that bug me though
