Nah you got off reasonably, you got two young RBs, one who should be starter next season, and one who has a chance to be. I got one definite starter (VJax), a midtable WR (Kearse) & a massive punt (Stacy). I'd probably rather have the RBs, but I wanted another WR which VJax fits for me :)

Go big or go home guys, 131.5pts on the board with Leveon Bell & dwayne Allen still  to go :D

I should still be OK in my game unless TY Hilton has a second half stunner but my projected score is dropping by the minute. LaFell and Gronk having quiet nights.

Looks like one division is going to end this week with 3 teams at 7-4 batlling for the Division Win and the two wildcard slots.

League Leader is going to e Troopers at 8-3, then Nialls Paul, Waffles & Fairies at 7-4 atop one division, Tegal & Swarlos look to move to 6-5 to stay in the fight. 1 game out as they would need to get over at least one of the 7-4 teams in the final 2 weeks.

Billikids 5-6, Whale 4-7, Usos 3-8 & Hammers 2-9 look to be out of it. Billikids could still make it, but they need 8 of the remaining 10 games to go their way to get in, all the 7-4 teams losing next week (Which would take Swarlos & Tegal to 7 wins as well, and then only 1 of the 7 win teams winning in the final week (Game between Swarlos & Waffles), and make up the 200pt gap to Nialls Paul over those 2 weeks as well.

On that note Congrats to the Mos Eisley Troopers on securing the Herbert Division Championship and a place in the playoffs with 2 weeks to spare.

Speaking on behalf of all of those who aren't going to get close, I say you should go for it and trade us all of your draft picks.

I am thinking about plotting a Championship for next season, but can't decide as my team is a little weak this season, but could be a winner next season with the right moves.

Was just starting to plan my annual "superbowl night out", which has fast become one of my favourite nights of the year - you show me someone who doesn't enjoy drinking until 4am on a Sunday night/Monday morning, before going to work all day Monday, and I will show you someone who is tired of life. Turns out that I am in Wellington for it next year, so will anyone be watching it down the 4Kings? I assume that it will be about midday on a Monday in NZ?

I'd be keen to do something for the superbowl.

Jono - Just realised, I love the fact you traded me Josh Gordon and he happens to come back from suspension on the week we play each other.

FM - trade proposal coming your way.

it's Sunday 1st February, so Monday midday our time. Can't remember if they showed the countdown before hand but I'm sure they would, nothing else on at that time.

I note that our league has no trade deadline.  What are peoples thoughts on this?  Would it be better to put one in place at say the start of the playoffs so a person can't 'buy' a title at the last minute?

The reason behind no trade deadline is because it is a Dynasty league, so even at the point of the playoffs teams may still want to improve for this year while teams out of the playoffs might want to make themselves stronger for next year.

We could though add one as Lock time of the first game of Week 14 (Start of Playoffs), which unlocks again after the final game of Week 17 (After Playoffs complete), I can't add that in the set-up, but can police it :)

I'm happy to not make any trades once playoffs start. Maybe make it a blanket ban on picking players up from FA/Waivers as well and even for those not int he playoffs?

I don't think we can block pick-ups, what happens if your team loses 3 WRs to injury? ;-)

I like no trade deadline. In a dynasty league a trade during playoffs is just as fair as one before the playoffs. Whereas in redraft, the trade deadline is to limit those who are out of the running just giving all their best players to a mate - less of a factor in dynasty as that would actually affect their team for next season too (whereas in redraft it clearly wouldn't)

I suppose I brought it up as I thought it would be a bit unfair if a team that dominated throughout the regular season and through the first week of the final was suddenly caught and lost the title because their opponent made a range of trades in week 17.

In saying that, it does likely screw that person for future years, so it is a balancing act.

Ultimately I don't mind either way and are happy to go with what people think.

true though maybe that other team should have put themselves in a position for that trade.

I can see both sides really and am not against putting one in for the playoffs. But marginally prefer not having a deadline.

Wow. my projected score has dropped from 160 to 114 thanks to game this morning. Quite day for Jordy Nelson and Marshawn and Baldwin having quiet games for SEA.

So Tre Mason got 2.5 more points this week. So the trade hasn't paid off yet. But still won the matchup, so hopefully Robinson can edge me into the playoffs next week.

Looks like I just might have done enough to secure a playoff spot (I think?) in the ridiculously tough Merrick divison. Could be worth my while making an all-in move.

This should be quite a close finish, with me currently leading by 6 points, and with the projections having you winning by 5 points. I need Forsett to continue his recent good form, and Buffalo to kick a huge number of field goals (while conceding lots of points........to the Jets)

Going to be a pretty tight finish across the league, believe we have 5 teams in the hunt for the four playoff positions....

Fairies 8-4 (Holds tiebreak over Tegal & Nialls, but not over Waffles)

Nialls Paul - 8-4 (Guaranteed Playoffs as has tiebreak over Waffles & Tegal)

Waffles 7-5

Troopers 8-4/9-3 (If Troopers beat Hammers they win the division)

Tegal 7-5 (Holds tiebreak over Waffles & Troopers)

Swarlos Rodriguez at 6-6 could technically still make it, but would need to beat Waffles by 42pts and have Tegal lose as well....(Would then hold tiebreak over both teams)
