Hey guys. New to this forum. I see a lot of you play
FIFA 07 - do you all have access to broadband?
I play with a friend alot via direct ip. Would be pretty keen to play vs some more gamers from NZ.
Let me know if you are keen or need some help with playing games via direct ip!

i doo. um my fifa online is pretty f**ked, it wont let me download
the patches to open up online and then says something about login
failed. if u know why then tel me and ill give u agame
ive got a song that wont take long, Adelaide are rubbish.. the second verse is same as the first.. ADELAIDE ARE RUBBISH

Hey mate.
You don't have to go via the online mode for direct ip. You just have to go to "GAME MODES>MULTIPLAYER>DIRECTIP"
It's useful to download the update patches as there are a few bug fixes and the players are accurate as of the end of the Jan 07 transfer window.
Here follow these instructions for the update install.
First you have to check which version Fifa you have. Go to "START>RUN" then type in "REGEDIT".
Then go into the folder "LOCAL MACHINE>SOFTWARE>EASPORTS>FIFA07".
In there you will find which "Region" your fifa is . As you can see mine is Nordic. If your fifa is legit and you bought it in NZ it should be Nordic.

In that case go here and download the patch under 2) and choose "ENGLISH NORDIC". Once downloaded install it.

Then the winter transfer patch you can get here for the Nordic version. Again download and install.

THEN YOU SHOULD BE SWEET!
Direct IP works buy connecting directly to another person's computer. It's just a matter of getting the IP of the hosting player and you connecting to that player or vice versa through the fifa direct ip screen. You can find out your ip at www.whatismyip.com.
