Hmm, thats a major screw-up but in the database he has had 7 since he joined the Phoenix so I have no idea what has happened here. Probably a transfer error. Tomorrow can someone tell me if it is in the game (On holiday so I can't play it myself) if it is I will see what I can do. What could of happened is that the guy who made the review changed the numbers or he somehow changed it by accident.

EB games would be your best bet, followed by Dick Smith.

i got it on PC today at dick smith in dunedin.

i know that people have been bashing the pc version big time... it certainly looks a bit dated graphics wise, but it does play surprisingly well so far.

phoenix are looking good player and stat wise - fully up to date (i.e. caceres), accurate formation etc.

The CG stats are different from NG stats and so players are made to suit NG stats so if the CG stats are right it is a coincidence, good in this case that the stats are fine.

JB Hi Fi is usually the cheapest.

Is it worth getting the PS2 version without the ability to patch it?

Might get PC version instead, seeing as I can also play that online.

One major flaw in the unpatched game is that you can take long-finesse shots that will always go in. This was discovered in the demo but of course it was too late to fix so the patch which was released today in Aus fixes this. Also does some transfers i.e Kruse to Melbourne although it does no stat changes.

Also I am looking forward to how the rest of you think we rated the A-League as a whole and players you tihnk we over-rated and under-rated. Of course Paston is under-rated as usual but this is because, as mentioned before, we cannot show his organisational skills in the stats.

No lol. Wellington or any team in the A-League is not big enough to have its own stadium. Hope for a good generic stadium, you can rename stadiums and change the generic stadiums that stadiums have i.e you c oould change Westpac Stadium to a different generic one.

Got it couriered to my office today. Had a quick go at it at lunchtime. Doesn't look toooo much different from Fifa 09 but the goalie reactions are certainly impressive (from what I saw). Had a quick look at Phoenix lineup - looks semi accurate at a quick glance. No SONY sponsor on jerseys. Fifa must have got art reference from the club very early on and haven't since updated it. Maybe in an upcoming patch, perhaps...
Looking forward to getting home and giving it a crack tonight. Get my gameface happening in game too.

-Were you happy with the Phoenix ratings and the A-League as a whole?

Diego and hearfield are quite high. Id say crowther is about 1 or 2 a bit too low

Just having a quick go at it, the stadium for the Nix is reasonably close although 50k attendance is a bit on the high side. But looked good with the colours. Our kit looks very good despite the lack of sony etc. Probably looks better to be honest. Xbox 360 Live, oh yes baby. Let's dance!

Remember that this was around Sep 1 when they were doing quite good. Diego was actually put down aswell.

Diego was pretty good and starting but I sold him in Manager mode. Everything else is quite realistic, although Mulligan is highly overrated. And i feel stronger players have a bigger advantage this year compared to speedy ones last year.
