True Clarke, the PS3 has been a very big disappointment sales wise even though it's the cheapest blu ray player. And it still couldn't nail the market. The new slim line wont play ps2 games either.

don't think so.

most people don't realize how long it takes to create a stadium in FIFA

they have to get Volunteers to go around stadiums and take 1000's and 1000's of photos of every single angle, then send them to the FIFA headquarters, then they have to interpret it all then hire people to draw it all up then put it on a computer, then digitally modify it with colour etc.....

it takes a good 1 and a half year at BEST.

I noticed that there are a few players in the A-League who now get their names said by the commentator. Durante is pronounced Durant.

I like it.

I wouldn't be able to tell you but Culina Yes Thompson Yes havn't heard any of the others but i was the phoenix and i was dominating so they had no ball.

Loving the game, even if I am on the PS2. New Be a Pro is so much more rewarding and so much less pointless than last year.

a couple of phoenix players i immediately bumped up a few points, but paston immediately got whacked down a lot of points all around. it's all about realism.

Fifa 10 is great. Can't play it though .... losing my eye-sight which sucks. Funny time to go short sighted..

I just tried the create a player thing. What surprised me is they had my surname (It isn't a commonly used name) in their choice list, kinda cool to hear Martin Tyler calling my name out during a game.
 
The online ad your own face thing is getting heaps of complaints, the server has been down for four days according to their complaints forum. When it works that should be a bit of fun too.
 
THe Wii version looks cartoony but it has one good feature, if you hit a rocket shot it goes into slow mo like in Tiger Woods and likewise for free kicks and corners.

That's what I thought you meant. I thought it'd be easier just to use the stadium schematics from the club.

Hey all,

To all those that don't have the game yet, JB Hifi have a deal where if you trade-in 3 games you can get it free. Theres an exclusion list, looking at football games FIFA 08, FIFA 09, and UEFA 08 aren't on it. So I'm set.

Was going to delay getting the new one till well after Forza 3, but after playing it today at Hunter St I pretty much have to now.

Regardless this is not how they make the stadiums. Never heard more crap in my life. The way they chose is based on the amount of space it would take up in the game and it's importance to fans, licencing etc. It has nothing to do with Volunteers taking 1000s and 1000s of photos of every angle of the stadium and saying it takes 1 and a half years to do was just complete stupidity. Did you make that all up on the spot?

Might be quite a while before i get this -  I've got them every second year but this season there have ben so many changes in all my three teams

i'm NOT TALKING ABOUT CHOOSING A 'F'ing STADIUM !!!!!!!!!!   

i read it on an article (maybe before FIFA 09 came out) and it was the manager of the game was describing how stadium is created.

the article came out because people were complaining about "my clubs stadium isn't in the game... bla..bla...bla "

and the game's manager went on to say why this is so. (the reasons i described)

Wyners show me this article. Chosing and making is exactly the same in this case. They only make stadiums that they chose to make. They don't make stadiums because they feel like it and don't include them in the game. They only make stadiums that are in the game. They is why I keep on saying how they chose stadiums as they only make stadiums based on the ones they chose.

Ohh.  Blimmin' ace.  Is the list online or just at the store.  A few games gathering dust now so that might be a good cost neutral exercise.

I have. My nephew and I are playingas the Nix but on my own I am playing as QPR. Been playing for 3 hours last night and about 5 hours today. The joys of shift work and days off! This really is  the best Fifa yet.

They have to get one photo. I work there and get paid so I think I would know.
