Wow, didn't realise all those bugs. manager Mode appears to be working fine for me after 23 games. No doubt a patch fix should be forth coming and resolve those issues. I am still enjoying the game heaps. I have noticed that "2 player" mode when you team up with some one, the game play is slower than when only one player playing.

Yeah, it should have been 7-0 but the crossbar saved them

Not at all interestingly, I'm playing FIFA 09 as Spurs into the 2009/10 season.

Started off with a hiss and a roar right at the top for a few games, then Mordic got injured until December and the team fell behind quite majorly.

Nearing the end and lying 8th, won the League/Carling Cup, but lost to the Mackems in the FA Cup semi final.

Uncanny re Mordic?

Yep, This game came out at the very right time, home alone, it's kept me out of trouble and is better than a lot of what's on TV. I know I need a life but.....

Just played an epic xbl match. Was losing 4-1 to Chelsea at half time (i was man u.) I scored 3 goals to level it at 4-4. Got a free kick just past half way in the 90th minute - brought on paul Scholes and hit an absuloute rocket. Hit full power with max top spin - cech had no chance.

guys - play as stoke online and make the opposition kick the ball out (round the penalty area) and then hold down square for the mammoth Delap throw in !!!!! it is HUGE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i did it and scored 2 goals from it.

Obviously too late now, but could've moved an expensive player into QPR before you started. Then just sell him and upgrade coaches.

Good tip Michael, never too late. Can always start a new game. I'm not the best player around for sure so this thread is a real learning aid for me.

Has anyone else created their own charactor?

Is your surname in the drop down list? Big surprise to find my own one as it is not a common name. I can score goals but I am easily dispossed of the ball and run like Tony Adams. Have to work on the charactor and improve strength.
