FIFA 14 Ultimate Team (FUT)

I've got it on PS4. just got the update for the World Cup ultimate team and kick off mode. through to the round of 16, bought a pack and got Fernando Torres but will he be an upgrade over Giuseppe Rossi who I have at the moment haha. also got robbie kruse and have 3 mexican's in the midfield. the chemistry is not very good.
I have about 4 squads in the normal FUT, don't play it that much though. got a spanish, italian, german and brazilian squad. spanish squad probably my best. but never managed to get any in form cards or tots
Yup, never got any 'rares' either. I only have one team (a BPL one) although I have Benzema on the bench as a CAM for if I'm chasing a game.
Not bothering with FUTWC as my starting pack was AWFUL and I'd rather focus on my longterm team.
The only reason I have so many teams is because I got the pre-order bonus of a gold pack per week for 24 weeks. haven't got past the round of 16 on the world cup mode.
some people either got extremely lucky or have opened a ton of packs on the world cup mode cause their teams are stacked and you can't trade in the world cup mode.
I think it is a con. I keep getting notification that rare packs are available but then you have to pay for them. Double dipping from EA. Give us half the game at full price and then bleed us for the rest over a period of time.

Yup, I have a team now that does ok anywhere between the bottom div and div 5 if I play well with them. Might get some packs at a later stage. Do your FUT teams carry over to FIFA 15? FIFA 14 is the first time I've played FUT so no idea about this.
No it starts again every year. They should have pre order bonus like the past couple of years where if you pre order you get some FUT packs. I got 1 pack a week for 24 weeks with fifa 14.

Cheers. Will be a pain starting again and pointless getting anymore packs with FIFA 15 only 3-4 months away surely.
