downloaded the demo but have not had the time to play it (he says as he sits at the computer) anyone had a play on it yet ?  i think it will have to be really good to convince me to upgrade as i have every year since about 2001.

well after playing the demo i feel i will not be upgrading to fifa16 on my ps3 so look forward to seeing fifa 17 on hopefully ps4 next year

Just gave it a whirl. As I haven't upgraded in a few years I'm thinking of getting it. The close control of the players is amazing. I like the female football too. Had some great games already with them.

Yea bit shark about that. But i got the game today and gave it a go. The player control is great.  There seems to be a new sort of mechanics for shooting and crossing which. But its a lot of fun

I did my normal gig of transferring the nix to English league 2. And the pre season has me competing in a European cup if sorts. Can't wait to play it later

Got it yesterday. Got EB Games to match the Warehouse price ($22 cheaper) then with a trade in and $40 gift card I had in my wallet for a while I only ended up having to pay $33.

Only managed a couple of games last night but enjoyed it. Some subtle changes with ball control and the shooting/crossing mechanics which seemed to make a difference. I always struggled with going on long dribbles with players so always tend to pass as quick as I can but found I was able to keep control of the ball and go on runs a lot better than past versions. I also managed to get on the end of some crosses which I hardly ever did in 15.

If anyone wants a game on PS4 add me - invisibleman18.

Boxall, brockie and the greek kiwi can be foubd under free agents in career mode. I just signed them back. No logerson or mcgarry though

Bugger all kiwi international players too which I found weird considering the number of players Hudders has called up.

so ive played a season now, and im not that thrilled with the game. (a little disclaimer here, i am not an online player and i see the FUT feature thing as a hole to throw your money in. I play it for the career mode and multi-player player mode.)

When you compare it against the other big titles out there, the GTAs, Witchers, Skyrim etc, this game has stalled for the past 6 years. No real improvement beyond the odd adjustment or refinement of graphics and ball control. which is a shame. and is standard just to keep pace with the developments in hardware. the career mode is the same with a new toy which is ok. its a training simulator which you can access at points to make players better. its a good addition but that's where the good times stop with it really.

now maybe im just a bit jaded and  have played too much fifa and have unrealistic wants from newer versions. but fudge it i do feel that newer versions should want you to buy the game all over again! no just look like a new patch in which they get the nix kit wrong!

I haven't bought a new FIFA in the last few years and I find it a lot better.

Guess year to year its hard to tell the difference, kind of like football manager.

And as football is still just football, I guess there's a limit to how much can actually be added compared to something like GTA etc.

i am still a little pissed off they took the join a club out of the ps3 version, being in a club was good as you generally got to play with 21 other people at the same time

If you buy FIFA every year you're a sucker - buy it once every few years. No annualised franchise will have noticable improvements year to year.
