Second that. FIFA Manager is all bells and whistles. Oh yay I can build my own custom stadium! Call it FIFA Architect 09 then.

Football Manager 2009. The professional's choice.

Totally agreed.
I looked at Fifa Manager and it looked really good. I played it then my mind changed completely.

FM or Fifa?

fifa manager 09 is out on Oct 31st. the 3D game engine is overhauled. Ok it has bells and whistles. It's when you dig deeper into it you find things that are obviously in FM 2009.

Both games have good and bad points. I enjoy watching the 3D games in Fifa. The Nix are in there etc. too!

Don't argue, buy both!

Haven't played much NZFC tbh. From what I have played no noticable problem though.

Only problem I have noticed is sometimes you'll be doing a game between say United and West Brom. And the commentator will say "Thats some great play by Chelsea."

It's probably got more bugs than the wardrobe in my bedroom. I think the novelty factor of being able to play in the NZFC would wear off incredibly fast.

Three for me, and two for them.

Ok I've... Ummm.... 'purchased' Football Manager 2009 and had a quick play on that.

I'm now downloading Fifa Manager 09 off the EA website so I'll tell you guys what one is better.

Just warning you now it will probably be Fifa Manager as I've always liked them a bit better.

But man the 3D mode on Football Mananger is crap.

Rubbish, all the players (in Canterbury, Otago and Wellington at least) are semi-pro, not sure about Waitakere or Auckland though.

Ok guys I need your opinion. Im in Britian and I'd never played Fifa Manager or Football Managaer before in my life. I read about them on wikipedia before I went to buy it. When I got to the shop they were the exact same price and id heard that one was good and one was crap. So I thought cos its Fifa and it has a better looking box and everything that I thought Fifa would be better. I havent played it yet as Im waiting until I get back to NZ but I just hope the one I have bought is good!!!

If you want text book management then FM is suprerior, If you want tyo watch a 3d game with comementators etc then EA Sports Fifa Manager rules. Sadly tthe kind folk at Football manager decided that a 3d engine was too differcult and you get to watch tiddly winks instead.

I guess the easy option is to recommend them both so you can have the best of both worlds.
