Hey guys. this probaly gets asked all the time but whats going to be better out of fifa manager 10 and football manager 10? I dont know which one im going to buy?

When is it due out? I heard it might cost $99 this time but last years was only $84. Must be paying extra for HN's snacks bill to EA.

I used to play Fifa Manager, but once I tried out Football Manager I was blown away with quality of it and how in-depth it is.

I only do the Phoenix from the A-League, some mates of mine do Aus.  The Phoenix are a little out as Chen is sent from China where they grossly over-rate players and things.  Needs a few tweeks which the Aus lads may be able to get done by release.

My work is mainly Oceania.

A cool job and thanks for your input into the game. I've been playing the various EA versions going back to 1998  or 1999 - I think. Total Club Manager. Might still have it around here somewhere. An excellent distraction of a game. 3D mode is not too bad nowdays, although I miss the snow storms and orange footballs in winter of the early versions. Great if you're stuck in bed and want to kill a few hours,

im guessing you would have to have a base to compare them on though,so do you collaborate with the people doing other sides? Then what about the players being comparable to say EPL players etc. Id suck at that maybe,as would tend to overthink it like that..

Ah! The end of an era. Downloaded the 'Vanilla' demo to see what the hype was about as had never played before. Am enjoying it at the moment albeit being a little confused a lot of the time.

Is that on Football Man? (Fifa Man and Football Man are two different games).

All good, I just noticed there's a few FM threads when there only needs to be one, just like us FIFA Manager fans. Which ever game we each prefer, you'll find most have both and the best of both worlds!

Two weeks until release haha. my fifa manager 09 has crapped out so im lookin forward to the new version, even though its going to cost $99. Although on Fifa Manager 09 it pissed me off how all the players that had cartoon pictures were black. Really stupid.

Did you find when you hit season 2019/2020 you started getting updates from league around the world that'd take ages to clerar and annoy the sh*t out of you?? I booked 2010 at Eb two weeks ago as they are only getting limited copies, so I advise any fans to book it so they get in more copies. $10 deposit is all you need to do. Oh and with my FIFA 2010 I got a $25 discount card off any other EA 2010 game and Manager does qualify, so that's $35 I dont have to worry about in advance.

Played the demo, but too be honest they have taken a whole lot of things out of the game to make it smaller and it makes the game a bit boring.

I'm going to get it and the deciding factor for me will be weather they've sorted out the A-league, if not ill take it back to EB.

So if they sell out before I get my hands on a copy they arent going to get any more in?

You might find it hard to get hold of according to the Lower Hutt EB guys.

O god O god. Had it pre-ordered at EB Games who have just decided to withdraw their orders due to lack of demand. Now iv had to download it which is taking 26 hours + iv paid for it + its downloading on the wrong computer and EA wont let me access my account on my other computer so cant download it onto there!! If you cant put it ona cd or pen drive I am in the sh*t

Yeah well I got this sh*t news that EB Games had cancelled their orders and no one else like Harvey Normans or Dick Smith is selling it. So I went on EA Games New Zealand and there homepage is full of advertising for FIFA Man 10 like it is the biggest game. So I enetered my card details thinking they would send me a disk copy of the game but you actually have to download it yourself... so iv paid my $80 .. currently waiting for it to download but I am very scepticle and wont hold my breath that its going to work..... could get messy and frustrating!!

Rang Eb today in Queensgate and they said it might be in later this week, that they had it but not in their shop. Perhaps a few others need to ring and ask about it, create some interest. It's never come out this late before! A bit disappointed with that.
