Can't really be bothered tbh. It is only a $1 cheaper at the warehouse anyway.

pretty impressed so far, except no reid or smith. like the managers on the touchline, thats pretty cool

very realistic goals and what not.

my only gripe is far to often the team i play has 2 shots for 2 goals etc.. very seldom miss. though just means i have to make sure i take my chances

If anyone could put on New Zealand and Serbias player ratings would be great.
Maybe ten top players overall as well?

Also do all the players have correct names? ..cant stand it when they don't.

Cheers

Will sort tomorrow if I remember. To tie you over in the mean-time- teams have star players- those witht he highest ratings. We've got Nelsen (78) and Smeltz (70). If I remember correctly, Killy is about 65, Fallon 64, Wood 63. Mossy 61, Pasty 60, Brown 60, Elliott 63 (maybe?), Boomboom 63(?). Can't remember the rest.

Ifill's about 1000 better than anyone else in Barbados.

Other helpful hint, don't be Comoros. They are rubbish.

Wouldn't this be only key attributes for their specific position, so Smeltz may be a bit higher in key attributes for striker but Killen may be better overall?

But they're both forwards ..don't they use the same key attributes?

Yeah, they would so say Smeltz is higher in finishing and ball control, which are possibly key attributes for forwards but Killen could be higher in strength/reaction/composure/passing or whatever attributes that may not be listed as a key attribute for a forward. Like Theo Walcott would be a good winger due to his pace, but put him in CM and his attributes needed for CM would not be as good and is reflected in his rating for that position.

I dunno- I appreciate that Smeltz has had a heck of a lot more game time than Killen over the last couple of years, at a much lower level, but I'd say that A-League top scorer > reserve in Championship.

Compare on the same stage- Smeltz is 15 goals from 27 for AW. Killy 10 from 30.

Personally, I think Smeltz is a better player. But that one will well be debated.

Put Killen at CF he goes to 71.

A cool feature in the game is at the last game of a group stage, it shows regular score updates of the other game in the group. Very handy feature. Michael2010-05-04 17:50:09

anyone else find there is too big a difference between playing teams home and away, it goo that they have made it harder on the road but i think its a bit excessive.

in africa i have twice beaten a team easy (5-0, 6-0) at home only to be completely outplayed away. the teams seem to be twice as good when at home which is stupid

Haha yeah, I've started to find that as well. Struggle in the islands yet give the islanders a good fisting in NZ. Oh wait, that's reality...

But yeah I have noticed that

It's cool how they've done that. I still won all my Oceania qualifiers apart from one draw, but we will have to see with the Asian play-off.

Does the home away thing happen when your playing friendlies, but in South Africa (I do doubt this)? Because if it is Tobz you are absolute garbage at this game, the only match you beat me last night was when you were Spain and I was Vanuatu, and I was still ahead 1-0.

I managed to get it at Dicksmith for the Wii for $49.00

I thought it was quite a good deal.
Gamewise, I wasnt expecting heaps as i know its the wii and I dont own any Fifa games on wii but basic controls are:
flick remote to shoot
A: pass
B: Lob
Trigger: move
plus more, so im guessing its similar to fifa
It has a global tour mode, dream team, online and WC mode etc

My mate got this on xbox360 yesterday. Looks a fairly decent game. I quite like the realistic feel of the game. When you play in the islands it feels like it's actually in the islands. Also they seem to have realistic squads across the board too which is nice. Don't like the incessant commentary in the in-game menus from that twat Tyldesley though.

On first look i'd probably give it a solid 8/10.

so i hate to complain but playing away from home is just way too hard.

just finished a campaign as russia, beat wales 5-1 at home lost away. beat azerbaijan 7-0 at home lost away. beat finland 4-0 at home lost away

like the teams are just so much better when at home. im sure azerbaijan will play better at baku but it was like playing a 4/5 star team

still, into the playoff vs slovakia. where away goals are vital....

Just a note: We were only allowed to use players who have played in World Cup Qualifiers ONLY. Licensing thing. Friendlies etc during this period do not count.

I assume that will change once all official squads are announced.

I am not entirely sure but I will say unlikely to happen. Potentially after the World Cup but certainly for NZ, not before.

How hard must it be to update the players squads once they are announced. If they can port most of the data from Fifa10 then 90 odd% of the players will be done already, just add the odd Clapham type unknown.

Well its more a licensing thing although I am not sure. See I have only now just updated the NZ squad and put Winston and Tommy in. But that is more because I feel like it, not because anyone has told me to. I will create Clapham later but I am more doing this for FIFA 11 than the World Cup game.

Definitely not, it's the opposite in friendlies. Definitely the opposite.

EA have said all 32 teams will get full squad updates just before WC starts.

In June there will be a squad update and all 23/30 (like for Englands squad) players that teams announce will be in the squad. So Clapham will be there. Same with Reid and Smith.
