Just wanted to share with you guys, I updated all the teams to have their correct players for the season (apart from the players that don't exist in the game).

I also changed clubs attendances to the averages of last season (+200 each, lets call that inflation).

I increased reps slightly (only by 150 i think) due to the A-League becoming increasingly popular.

And just for fun I gave each team a 1m cash injection, just say new TV deal haha.

Also for fun I made a league called the Oceania Premier League and Oceania First division.  2 divisions (12 in Prem, 10 in div 1) with the NZFC teams, plus Central Utd, 9 Australian teams and 4 Island clubs.  Guess who's winning, Prem - Team Wellington, Div 1 - Canterbury Dragons.

I am the Phoenix, unfortunately Moss and Smeltz are not rated well on this game, I am playing Smeltz but he hasn't scored for 8 games, lucky I have signed an ace Bolivian striker.  I also have a better keeper from Bosnia & Hersegovina.  Snapped up Simon Elliott for  free, tried to get Chris James but he opted for South Melbourne!

The league is so tight with the exception of Queensland who have 4 points from 11 games!  Are they the FM version of us in real life??

Everyone else is split by about 5 points.

Whats extremely funny is who is 1st place, none other than Perth Glory!!   I am sitting in 4th at present, 2 points off the lead, and only 3 above 7th.  Have had 3 wins, 5 draws and 3 losses.  Am struggling to perform at home but am unbeaten away. 

Sucks when NZ have international games as I am then stuck for a team, have to use greyed out keeper (as my Bosnian guy is injured) and play some players out of position.

Squads and international windows fixed in 2009.

I couldn't wait till November Had to use McKain, Kwasnik, Sigmund, Gao, Durante and co NOW

Also, I have added 20 or so other NZ clubs so you can have a play with two NZ divisions.

Whats this for?  In FM09?  NZ won't be playable is it?

Or do you mean a database for 08?

In FM 09:

- We have added a stack of the winter clubs because I was fed up with so many NZ free agents
- NZ won't be playable.
- NZFC squads are at the end of last season although Auckland may have Xavi Roca and Ivan, as they have been sent to the NZ base by Europe.
- Solomons and Fiji have had a major overhaul.
- Quite a few younger NZ players in the game, and some older retirements.
- Hopefully more details on NZ players as well.
- Phoenix should be as the squad is today, and under the salary cap, but I have been crook and have not yet had a chance to do any test on the Phoenix.

Wow sounds fantastic, looking forward to seeing what clubs, I can make a playable league out of them!

If you are too crook to test it, send to it me and I will do it for you Haha I wish, as if.

Like the idea of younger players, I noticed when I was managing NZ and went to Olympics, it was mostly random regens, and their wasn't enough young decent talent.

Also when scouting NZ as Phoenix, always comes back, no one to recommend which is crap, so this will be great.

I'm not sure if you guys are aware of this but there is a patch online that allows you to play Oceanian leagues that works with 08 and 09 too I think (I've loaded it with my copy of 09 but am too busy playing as Union in Argentina).
