Just started my second season with Stockport County, 1st match of the season away at Chesterfield. Down 3-0 at half-time, have a chat to my striker Anthony Elding and repays me with a hat-trick to earn a 3-3 draw.

Epic.

I once won a pre season game with Arsenal over Stenhousemuir 2-0. That was pretty epic.

Three for me, and two for them.

Just revived my A-League game over the weekend. FM08 has been gathering dust for me for a while. Signed a 19Y/O serbian chap (name forgotten) sith 16's and 17's for most atatcking stats. . .   then he went and got injured in the first fixture and is out for 2 months. . ..  .

I got Watford promoted to the Premier League and then relegated straight away.

All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite
And yousa fake fuck like a fleshlight

Took Stockport from 18th in League 2 to 8th with a 12 game unbeaten streak. Missed out on playoffs by 1 point.

Hull City - but with any luck the offer will no longer meet your requirements after the weekend

I've currently taken Hinckley from ECN to League 2 in 2 Seasons. Pos 1 in League 2 end of Jan with a 7 point lead. Just need to hang in there...

Indeed, but they'd still be in the Championship in FM. I'm sure Phil Brown wouldn't mind.

Three for me, and two for them.

Good luck! I started with Worthington - saved them from relegation - got mid table, next season lost in the play offs and got sacked - no pleasing some!

Started okay, mid table, but a great run in the cups has paid off all the money I spent on releasing the dross in my side (nearly all of it).

So I'm about 8k up, playing Bury in the 2nd round of the actual  FA Cup draw and finally got a decent goal scorer on loan from Birmingham, 5 goals in his first two matches.

Might move these last posts to FM thread.

The most enjoyable FM game I had involved evil Manchester City. Using Thaksin's cash and the talents of Elano, Johnson, Petrov and co I finished 5th in my first season and won the League Cup. Picked up Luis Jimenez off Inter for season two (actually signed him for around 2mil in first year but since he's on loan he doesn't arrive till second season) and he was an absolute beast.

For year two I moved Elano into central midfield, Jimenez into the hole and had the Brazilian Liedson up front. Got Wright-Philips on the cheap off Chelsea and he turned into a monster as well. Managed a 3rd place finish in the second season (to go with a Eufa Cup win and an FA cup semi final) and in the third (following further reinforcements after I sold Ireland for around 25 million pounds to Valencia) year I took down both the EPL and the Champions League :) KTBW2008-08-22 12:44:52

I took over Derby and were horrible, picked up Seb Larsson on the cheap and he was my top scorer, had Killen who scored a few but unfortunately I couldn't picked up a central defender before the window closed apart from a quick pick up of Stephane Henchoz on a few hundred thousand. Ended up leaving the team halfway through when I lost to NewCastle 8 - 3.
