Took England job and won World Cup beating Argentina, Italy, Germany and Brazil in final 3-0. Although I did lose to Iran in last group match. I did not save or edit details just played through. Rickie Lambert was top scorer at Cup with5 goals.

Then played four games post World Cup drew 3 and lost euro qualify at home to Wales. Decided to resign and have been offered job as Manager of Dutch national team. Should I except ??

So have ended up starting a new game, Scotland was frustrating me, and I am a bit bored with the normal leagues I play, so loaded Romania, Poland, Hungary, Austria, Finland, Denmark, Sweden & Norway.

I started unemployed and applied for all the jobs, I got employed by Sportul in Romania's second level, pretty happy with the job and now looking forward to working my way towards the top.

has anyone been playing the nix in the a-league? I've been running the club for 5 years and have reached the point where not been able to buy other a-league players is simply doing my head in! It's a board restriction which just makes no sense. Any one noticed this?

and that is a real life rule as well?, is bloody annoying, there is just noway to get any reasonbly decent players from other a-league clubs which in effect restricts the Aussie players you can pick up unless they are coming off contract.

after managing the nix for 7 years I have moved on to bling fc, won the league and finals series twice, but due to not qualifying for ACL I had to leave - also the lack of transfer money form the club was klilling me.

Has anyone tried starting a new game managing the Nix after the most recent patch?

Beginning a new game, I can't schedule any friendlies (no custom DB edits) and its doing my head in. The only pre-filtered options i get are two random Australian teams. The board tells me it is too far to travel to Auckland and all the Wellington based teams are 'too busy' to accept my friendly proposal.

Would appreciate if someone else could test this so I know if this is just me?

yeah its shit with the nix, you can't arrange friendlies against anyone but local wellington teams and the occassional game against Waitakere as long as they come to us. Having said that after 7 years with the nix I managed to win it all 3 times, then moved to sydney so I could manage a team to the AFC, managed that first season at Sydney.

Ahh thats good to know its not just me, thanks guys. I managed to get around it somewhat (first season at least) by starting the game in June rather than August - was able to get decent friendlies with NSWPL and VPL teams.

Saw that, is pretty cool. Looks like at this stage it is just for "demographics" and measureables to add to the data that Prozone have on statistics and help them easier keep track of player movements between clubs etc, but is pretty awesome.

Everton amongst others have long had agreements with SI about using the database.

Have there been many changes in the last couple of years or is it mainly just updated rosters to start with? Used to buy it every year but haven't got it since 2011 or 2012. Found I'd play most nights for a couple of months or so and get through a couple of seasons then ended up taking a break from it and never going back to it, so haven't bothered buying it the last 2 or 3 years. Thinking about getting back into it for 2015 version though. I like the classic version and being involved in every detail though so it can consume a lot of time. You can easily spend a whole evening on it and only get through 1 actual match!

2014 full of glitches, not a great experience wouldn't both with it :)
