Hi guys,
Thought I'd let you know about an online management game that I
don't think anyone has mentioned on here yet - Freekick (
http://www.freekick.org )
It's not the best looking, or easiest to get into, game out there.
But, if you figure out the user interface, and spend a little time
learning the basics, then you'll find a thoroughly engrossing game
enjoyed by thousands online.
I've been playing for 2 or 3 years now, since it was quite young,
and the game has changed a lot over the last couple of years. But
the main focus of the game remains the same - there is much more
room for the managers tactical influence on matches than in any
other game I've tried.
For example, players don't have positions as such - you determine
from his skills where he could play best for you.
There is a vibrant worldwide community, and NZ has a small but fun
and very competitive league.
Check it out, free to sign up for and play. There are some added
features that you can get if you pay to play, but none are
necessary - loads of the better teams play for free. I pay
for the bonus features, mainly just to support the developers (who
are brilliant, and always listen to ideas).
My name in game is sawu, and my team is Chummel Athletic. Come and
join the fun, and say hi in the NZ forums!
