COD 4. Best FPS out there, realistic and the online stuff is intense. Brother recently bought battlefield bad company and its not up to the task, and the rainbow six games are still lacking realism on all accounts. Hey, there's always Fifa if you want to mix things up, but i'd wait until 2009's out

Yeah the PS3 is definately lacking in range, maybe i'm getting old but when I walk into EB games I don't feel inspired to buy, but in the past i've been cueing up to get titles!

Army of 2 looks good to. BUT being a broke student i'm happily waiting for all the gaming prices to go down

On a side note I can't wait for Bat Man Dark Knight to come out on Blu Ray, WOW!!!!!

Phooey

I've got to delay writing it (not that that'll be hard) so I can follow my supervisor overseas next year

laughs, no...but it is a subsidised trip to Ireland, hopefully some football, St Patrick's day while I'm over there....so there is a pay-off

And I've played many a game of Fifa with 4 players, though all of them on Xbox/Xbox 360

me? or the game?

I'd say I was fairly average, not great, not terrible.

The game itself is fun, I know some people don't find it as realistic as other games, but I like it as its not too complicated or hard to pick up

GTA 4 has got to be the best game for wasting hours on end and not realising it. theres something amazingly fun about killing a cop and then having hundreds chase you round.

Isn't it ridiculous how many hours we devote to gaming! I looked at my COD4 online account which i've only got back into while i've been sick and there is nearly 3 days of playing time on there, holy hell!

haha i freaked when i saw i had played 2 days on my cod4 for the 360. but then when i think about it, i only play when im chilling out so all i would otherwise be doing is watching t.v. i should be doing uni work but again t.v. would be in front of that.

what would be really scary is seeing how much time you have spent watching t.v in your whole life.

COD4=amazing. The online play basically means you can keep going FOREVER. I had some time off work and uni last week being crook and realised why I love it! Prestige mode is a b*tch

Plan to buy it after NCEA exams later in the year because the temptation of gaming is better than study

Is the online like in battlefield?

Loving GTA4 at the mo.  I've taken a break from the story line to kill pigons and jump the stunt ramps

yeah those pigeons take a while to find, once you have clocked the game they send you an e-mail that shows where all the pigeons and jump ramps are in case you could not find them all.

oh wow you're pretty late in getting into cod4. it's different (IMO much better) than battlefield. Maps are smaller, no vehicles, but the gunplay is just amazing. And all the different options you can choose from in terms of perks and attachments for your guns add a whole heap of variety and fun. Definitely my favourite online game by miles (until fifa 09 i think).
