Nice forums you got here. I noticed your games section and
thought I might add two of my favourites which aren't very well
known. If you're in the mood for something a little different give
these two games a try. Both are card based PC games.
Soccer Cards 1, European Cup Edition, World Cup Edition.
Involves skill and strategy as well as a bit of
luck. Features all 8 divisions of English
Football. Also has exhibition and cup modes. The European
Cup edition is based around the Soccer Cards 1 engine while
the World Cup edition is based around the upcoming Soccer Cards 2
engine.
Soccer Card v4.1
Remake of League Soccer Cards for the Amiga by the original
programmer no less. Unlike the other this one
involves little skill or strategy but features
leagues from all over the world (including a Australia/New Zealand
hybrid) as well as a in depth World cup mode with qualifying.
League sizes and season lengths are a bit abbreviated
compared to the others more realistic setup but that makes it the
perfect coffee break game.
