i miss being able to see who else is online at the bottom of the page instead of having to look in each thread. not really an issue i know, i just liked it.

Had forgotten about that. The “todays birthday” was kinda cool too. 

it seems a lot worse lately and happening with more and more threads - opening them to a blank page and then having to go to the previous link to see posts. One thread has 2 blank pages.

Often also, opening a thread does not take you back to the last post read but takes you to some random point in later on.

Both issues are on  my home and work PC and tablet.

It's related to hidden posts.  The boys have it on the list but the list is long.

The problem is not the lack of a stick.

My stick-related sarcasomometer was broken. As you were.

it happens if you are beaten with said stick enough times.

You would think being snowed in south of the Thames would free Nik up to do some actual work but apparently not.

My motivation to do stuff waxes and wanes with the fortunes of the team and how busy I am at Real Work™ (spoiler: pretty busy). 

The attitudes of a select few on here don't really help either.

Can we make that pop up "for a simpler vew" a button on the menu. Everytime I go back and forward on pages on my cell phone, it pops up. I only need to be asked once. Cheers in advance.

On my phone when on the website, and going through various threads, it's an automatic popup that when you click it, it can give you a b/w version of the page and no graphics, unless you click the X on it to get rid of it. Next time we meet, I'll show you. I thought it was a feature you guys might have put on it.

Does the search function actually work or is it a placeholder? 

Tech upgrades are a little on the backburner.  Nikz is busy living life in London and Patrick has a real job and a beard to maintain. We'll poke them though.

Attention Patrick and other tablet geniuses, I just put a request in the Geeks thread. My issue is solely with Facebook and Messenger. I can type here no sweat.

Patrick why the flip did you close the thread that some guy made about tolerance to gays?

Maybe it got of track but considering what it stood for did it really need the power trip or maybe just letting it get on track with some decent forum management?

A bit of tolerance would have gone a long way

As soon as I saw the comment and thread closure I thought “no wonder people are leaving YF” definitely a power trip.

Have opened a new thread, that hopefully covers all the off topic stuff. 

Patrick may then consider reopening the Rainbow Fever thread, as is a good cause.
