All I remember is that both WeeNix and Starting XI are 3 stars. You move up the ranks without getting a new star #dealwithit

I think the stars are leftovers from the old forums code, so it's gonna be hard work to master time travel and go back to post before the new code was put in place.
15 May 02:57

yeah I asked a while ago and got told that they were frozen or something as they were from an old version of the site. The only reason I asked again was because it gave me a second start

15 May 03:08

I'm pretty sure it's been carried over from the last site, but since it's been centuries since that happened, no-one actually remembers any details.

15 May 07:09 · edited 15 May 07:13 · History

So you mean if you already have your five stars you don't want to remember the details?

Hangover from the fever elite?

We're an elderly lot these days, the memory's not what it used to be.

15 May 07:58

my memory is good enough to remember you called Stefan a pub footballer ?

To be fair, I still don't really rate him. He is playing in the A-league after all.

15 May 11:34

I've checked the code. We updated them a few years ago when the Academy and the WeeNix came along, it's based on the old forum system but not a hangover from it. The stars definitely update based on your posts on the forum still.

What's with the board promoting stories to the front page that haven't been commented on for 5-6 or more years?

Pretty sure this is caused by somebody or some bot posting spam which pushes the topic to the top of the page then a mod hides the post but the topic stays at the top.

Interestingly though you can see deleted posts on blog comments

Anyone else seeing a bunch of threads in korean?

I don't know if it's going to post or not but this is what I see

I'm guessing it's because the images are being delivered via http, whereas the site's protocol is https
Your browser is detecting an https site and (for 'security reasons') only showing the elements delivered via https, and not loading / displaying the http elements.

I'm getting the same using a network desktop.

Yeah good shout @wibbler, it was a mixed content thing that I have been meaning to fix for a long time but have failed to do.

There will still be some uploads that are broken for a while till I get some time to go through and upgrade a few things (we're using some old versions of things)

FeverBot will be back soon-ish. We can't deploy new changes to the site at the moment, so I'm waiting for Nik to fire through an update to the codebase before I can bring him back.
