yeah I asked a while ago and got told that they were frozen or something as they were from an old version of the site. The only reason I asked again was because it gave me a second start

I'm pretty sure it's been carried over from the last site, but since it's been centuries since that happened, no-one actually remembers any details.

To be fair, I still don't really rate him. He is playing in the A-league after all.

I've checked the code. We updated them a few years ago when the Academy and the WeeNix came along, it's based on the old forum system but not a hangover from it. The stars definitely update based on your posts on the forum still.

What's with the board promoting stories to the front page that haven't been commented on for 5-6 or more years?

Pretty sure this is caused by somebody or some bot posting spam which pushes the topic to the top of the page then a mod hides the post but the topic stays at the top.

Interestingly though you can see deleted posts on blog comments

I'm guessing it's because the images are being delivered via http, whereas the site's protocol is https
Your browser is detecting an https site and (for 'security reasons') only showing the elements delivered via https, and not loading / displaying the http elements.

I'm getting the same using a network desktop.

Yeah good shout @wibbler, it was a mixed content thing that I have been meaning to fix for a long time but have failed to do. 

There will still be some uploads that are broken for a while till I get some time to go through and upgrade a few things (we're using some old versions of things)

I can get on through firefox if I delete the 's' in 'https'

I'm also getting this, on firefox

It's all working for me on desktop or mobile (if using a browser) but with the app I still get a 'no Internet connection' message. Any suggestions?

At Home on a laptop and here at work on a network, when I try click on "This Point", it says I am trying to do something I am not authorised to do.

FeverBot will be back soon-ish. We can't deploy new changes to the site at the moment, so I'm waiting for Nik to fire through an update to the codebase before I can bring him back.
