Blatter vs Bin Hammam
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

Two months later, at an extraordinary Congress called by the Somalia Association, two officials admitted they that they had taken a $10,000 bribe to forge a letter taking Addos vote away from him. One of them, Hassan Ali, a vice-president of the Somalia Federation, signed a statement to the effect that he took the money in return for allocating Somalias vote to Sepp Blatter.

The money was handed to him by Mohamed Bin Hammam

It was said at the time that bin Hammam had funneled $US 5 million for Blatters' election, a claim he vehemently denied, saying that it was only about $50,000 (as if there was some acceptable level of bribery) but he does admit to paying Hasan to forge the letter.

Who'd be villainous enough to play Blatter?

some stories about Blatter. He'll be down under on January 15. Avoid American Samoa around this time.

I like that "Blatter set up anti-corruption committee" story. That committee will surely see FIFA shut down!

lets hope for our sake he doesn't win. Didn't realise he was into his final year in charge of AFC. Wonder who would replace him?

Head of the Asian FA wants to increase the size of the exec board from 24 to 'reduce corruption' up to 42 memebers.
He says he has a 50:50 chance.
English FA already said they'll support him.
Blatter going for  a 4th term as head of FIFA.
Election June 1.

I will support the one who will bring goal line technology into the sport.

Pretty much say no one from Oceania will support Bin Hammam unless he does a major u-turn in his stance against the Phoenix. But then like some politicians will say whatever he needs to say to get the votes and will do what he wants.

I'm not too fussed about goal line technology.

Blatter I don't like and Bin Hamman I don't trust.

If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid

When ever i see blatter, i can't help but remember that his initial 'rise to fame' was being elected President of the World Society of Friends of Suspenders, an organisation which tried to stop women replacing suspender belts with pantyhose.

Stockings are great, ok, but that is just creepy.

I find it hard to understand how anybody can take any comfort from the way this is going. FIFA is f**ked up and there will be heaps more fallout from this to come.

maybe, but at least the one guy who has been supporting the nix being in the a-league is still (for now) in charge.Bin Hamman being suspened silences the biggest threat to Oceania and the Nix.

FIFA is a joke, and no matter what they do it will remain full of twats.

We will never fully decide who has won the football.
