DC United use THREE keepers...
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

Thorpe, a rookie and third-string keeper, was under constant pressure the first 20 minutes and received an early yellow card for upending an attacker outside the penalty area. After the match settled down, Thorpe retrieved a missed shot and took his time preparing a goal kick. Without warning, referee Roberto Moreno issued him a second yellow card for wasting time.

Crayton took over the goalie duties and rookie forward Ryan Cordeiro was removed, leaving Thabiso Khumalo as the lone striker. Six minutes later, Cruz Azul went ahead when Nicolas Vigneri headed in Alejandro Vela's cross from five yards.

United pressed hard for the equalizer in the second half, sending several dangerous crosses into the penalty area and watching Marc Burch's long-range blast narrowly miss.

Then in the 88th minute, with United's Gonzalo Martnez on the ground with an injury, Pablo Zeballos scored from 23 yards. Furious that play was not stopped, Crayton charged Moreno and was ejected.

That game was a joke and the ref was awful, not to mention DC just wanted out of there after they got their playoff dreams crushed in Columbus. But there's a reason DCU was a joke this year. Crayton has worked out well but their FO messed up what was the back to back Shield winners.

There's a reason you don't mess with a winning formula.
That being said I'm glad they did, F*#k united.
