I would like to suggest monthly World Cups, to maximise the profits.

Well at least we would likely see the AWs play every 2 years in a competitive tourney. That's if at the same time, WC was expanded to 48 teams.
From memory Ryan Nelsen on board with Wenger, Infantino & Co.
But still wouldn't solve issue of AWs no longer playing any 'big' matches at home. Plus also on face of it, seems would just cheapen the prestige of World Cups.

I thought this was a shark idea and then I remembered there are essentially four different cricket world cups in every four year cycle and they’re always cool so now I’m in to it.
I did have a great big long reply typed out to this too but then I refreshed my page accidentally, so I'll just stick with that for now and type it up again when I can be bothered.

The best World Cups were the ones with 24 teams. Am showing my age, and probably wearing rose-coloured glasses, but I stand by that - with absolutely no hope of it ever returning to that format...
Every 2 years would just be awful, especially if he's expanding it to 48 teams...

Yeah I’m really not sure about this but unfortunately it’ll prob go ahead as money talks and I’m sure there are a lot of countries/confederations out there who will want a slice of the pie.
I can kinda see why NZF would prob support. Reality is with the scrapping of the Confederations Cup and intercontinental playoff, competitive games for the All Whites will be few and far between for that “void” between WC cycles.
Every 2 years will obviously reduce that.
I suppose we’ll have the Olympics which I know a lot of countries don’t take seriously but I think we can see the value of that campaign with where the AWS are atm.
Tbh I’d prob be happier with them keeping the WC at 32 teams and have every 2 years than 46 teams every 4 years.

really dumb comments to make, any suggestion that the money made from a WC isnt going to the confeds and FIFA is ludicrous.

They weren't dumb, they were disgusting and downright disgraceful

agreed, although I was trying to give him some possible credit for maybe a translation issue - ie his meaning was lost when he tried to say it in English (I don't know, maybe I was hoping a little bit)
