Not football but i have a cricket bat personally signed by Waqar Younis and also have the bat used by once leading runs scorer in Indian test history Dilip Vengsarkar. Oh and a G&M bat signed by Richard Hadlee. Buffon II2008-10-12 16:53:15

Three for me, and two for them.

I have a cricket bat signed by all of the Blackcaps 06/07 team and Sri Lanka 06/07 team and umpires from that game at the Basin. Also a few of the BC's 07/08, and England 07/08 team.

I had Chris Nevins Wellington Firebirds 20/20 top signed by himself, but I left it by the heater and it melted

Queenslander 3x a year.

An average cricket bat signed by Waqar Younis or Richard Hadlee will not be worth anywhere near as much as a shirt or bat actually used by a famous sportsman/woman, bats like Simon described are probably worth more than the Younis/Hadlee bats. The value of bats signed by domestic sides depend on who the players were but if you sold them all in a set you might make a little bit of cash.

I'll also stick my head out Buffon and say the Younis bat will be worth more than the Hadlee in this part of the world because of it's rarity.

Well i certainly think my mum values the Younis bat far more because she was the one who wanted the autograph most. Had to go through security at Eden Park into the Pakistani dressing room in the West Stand and was able to meet him in person to get it signed, after that there was no way i was getting close to using that bat in BYC again!!

I have one with some great Canterbury sides, the likes of Astle, Cairns, McMillian, Martin, Harris and other internationals.

All the others (one for each team) have a few stars but not as many as I dont get to see there matches as often.

Yeah, full-strength Canterbury side from between 96 and maybe 2003/04 would be worth a lot more than any others from that time period.

I think so. Was that when Waqar was last here? I can't remember it was a long time ago.

Yeah it was. He was here in 92/93 (when he NZ apart in Hamilton), 93/94 (18 wickets in 3 tests), 95/96, and 01/02. Looking at statsguru he only played tests against NZ 5 times in Pakistan, compared to 8 over here. Nice little fact for you all there.

I have autographs of Bobby Charlton, Jack Charlton, Bobby Robson, Martin Chivers, Tommy Gemmell, Bobby Murdoch, Chris Lawler, Graeme Souness, Alan Kennedy, Paul Mariner and quite a few more all obtained by myself here in NZ as a kid. Worth more than money, those.
I also have 8mm original film footage of the 1958 and 1962 World Cup Finals, both of which have never had official release other than on highlights videos and DVDs.
Nix, Leyton Orient and Alloa Athletic supporting schmuck.

that's probably because those are the ones that YOU have.
everyone thinks their toy is better than any one else's.

tbh i'd rather have the money that you paid for those two shirts.
