Let's not lose sight of the fact too that we are really a feeder league to leagues better than ours. We might to and fro about which is better A League or MSL but in our hearts I think we know a move to the MSL is a step up from playing for the Nix in the A League.
Yes and I think an honest and above board process where Colorado offer the Phoenix a token amount for the player would have had everyone say 'good luck to you Roy, see you when Hudson goes tits up'
Instead it appears that Colorado made no offer and instead people are trying to undermine an existing contract.
I don't know what buy out clause or price exists but I do suspect that the Phoenix would not be unreasonable as they would want the best for Roy as well based on my knowledge of the people involved.
What I would also have expected was the same civility on the opposite side and everything I have seen, heard and read leads me to believe that has not been the case.
