I know one guy that's one of those 14, don't know after tomorrow but think it could be all over very soon for everyone.

How do you know how many are left?

Three for me, and two for them.

6 left before the Argies game.

Still 6.

Nobody left. They all got knocked out by that nil all draw.
So no outright winner. Just that last six

Maybe the "TAB Six" didn't know about the draw option.

I've had a good solid run so far, only incorrectly picked 3 results. Unfortunately the Spanish hiding in the 2nd game of the tournament was one of them. Group D has been a problem for me.

Permalink Permalink

No way will I come close to that concession prize now, I've picked Spain to go all the way. Only 4 outcomes wrong so far too.

Permalink Permalink

am up to 22 correct picks. leader so far is on I think 28 correct picks

I'm on 22 as well (I didn't pick a single outcome in group D either lol).

Anyone know how the finals format works? Do you need to pick the correct sides and the outcome, or just the correct outcome?

ie. I have Columbia vs Italy in round of 16 with Columbia to win. Seeing as Italy are out, could I still be successful if Columbia win?

Permalink Permalink

that's funny as I didn't get a single one right in group D either

Did you guys get an email about Your percentage of picks, mine said 63%, which by my calcs is 25 right...I need to try and login :P

Permalink Permalink

I'm only at 50% (22 from 44 games). Got the email but no percentage.

Now up to 30/46 games, think this is near the end of my run near the top as my second round reads:

Winners: Brazil, Italy, Spain, Uruguay, France, Germany, Argentina, Portugal...whoops (At least four of those teams are in the right game, but 3 aren't even there)

I'm currently at 32 correct. Still have Spain vs England in the quarters though, but have Brazil, Germany and Argentina to win the other 3 games

I have 35 correct so far, have Spain vs Uruguay in Qtrs, but as above Brazil, Germany, Argentina looks alright :)

Guess I am happy enough with 40/64 :)

I only finished with 35. Not picking a single outcome in Group D and also having Italy, Spain, England, Portugal to advance from group play (with Spain to win) ruined my chances once the knockout stages kicked in.
