It looks like the kind of show which has GPS tracking, solve world hunger kind of tech.. etc.
Colours remind me of glory...

They'll look great in other colours.

Nike said the idea behind the colour is that when you see a team mate running, from one side you see a flicker of dark/light/dark/light... etc, making it easier to see them from the corner of your eye in a split second. and apparently this colour is the most visible of all the colours they prototyped. but i think theyre doing a fluro/dark green aswell.

And without that graphic on the inside of the foot.
Other than the graphics. all that they have done is change the studs and made them a tad lighter.
Still very cool though. Gets me going.

Anyone heard that thing about the studs?
Really weird pic which I can't be bothered finding.

Apparently they studs can change to suit the pitch you are on.
So if you are on a soft pitch, the little studs expend an extra 3mm.
If you are on a firm pitch, they act like normal studs.
Its something to do with the structure of the carbon fiber inside it.
When you go onto a soft pitch, the carbon sole flexes and extends the studs. And the clear coating around them allows them to extend.
Thats my understanding..
I quite like them. And there is every chance I will try to get them. But at like $600 a pair... jeeze.
Ill stick to my T90's and Vapors.Stefan2010-03-23 21:53:52

Innovative looks, awefull colours (second picture is not that bad actually). Although I'm a bit traditionalist myself, still love models like Copa Mundial and World Cup from Adidas. Don't like this 'plastic' feel you have while playing in boots like Superflies etc.

I like my Vapor 5's because they are light. Comfortable and easy to clean.
One wipe and they are done. :P

I've got a pair coming in from the UK... cant wait.

Im not too sure if they are that eye catching anyway.

Had a look at these up close today in Champs (Football Central)
They are very sexy boots.. If I had the money I would.
Jimmy Haidakis picked his up today too. He wasn't sure how they would look with the Nike Red laces though.

What was the price tag on the suckers?

The flag isnt as good as I was hoping for but whatever. The only real thing Im hating about these boots is the fact theyve only had 20mins game time this season (injury).

In time for the WC, Nike's big four: Mercurial, Tiempo, T90 and CTR... all in a limited edition colourway and featuring all the tech including the carbon fibre sole plate.

At least they will go with your High Vis safety vest when you're working on a road crew.

'Working' and 'Road crew' are 3 words which can never be used in the same sentence.
Did this thread happen after or before i posted the one about the Elite boots?

Lol at the flag.
I wasnt expecting much, considering how detailed it would need to be. It would be all good if it was a german, italian or maybe an english flag.
