Recieved the superfly's today.
Damn sexy.

Wearing them round the house to stretch them a bit.
Despite that. They are damn comfortable, even just on carpet. Can't wait ti get them out onto the pitch.

I hated mine, they were stiff as f**k and fealt like they never really broke in. And too narrow, i must have wider than normal feet? The lack of padding was just annoying so i picked up some T90 Elites instead. Miles better

I have one $150 pair of boots. Wear them out for the season. If I don't like them, then that's too bad. New ones every season, or when they are falling apart.

I just don't do saving that well.

I'm just like you Simon. Actually I only have a pair $10 worth from America. I just play on. My last pair, were Puma white/red wore them for nearly 2 full on rep seasons, and only stop wearing them when the boot turned into 3 different sections.

So my five pairs of boots, turf shoes and three pairs of indoor shoes would be considered excessive?

mmmmm.... trainers...

Much better than wasting money on guitars (I can tie and wear trainers).

Can anyone tell me if any manufacturers will sell me two different sized boots of the same model? Or if anyone's heard of it happening before...

Some might find this a bit of a laugh but I have a bit of an issue I've been battling for years. Basically my left foot is size 10 and my right foot is size 9.5. This is due to me breaking three metatarsals when I was 15 which stunted the growth of my right foot. I've just been bulking up the right boot with an extra ankle sock which has been ok but not quite ideal and it's beginning to piss me off.

Anyone help? I really don't want to have to buy two pairs of boots and have to discard the spare odd pair.

Might get on the phone to some local suppliers then...

I do know that one of my lads has a foot bigger by a size. Gets his boots from the UK and has had the odd sized pair before. So yes it does happen but may have been his Bball boots in the odd size.
Don't think he worries about it now as he just ordered two pair football boots.

Have emailed Prodirect and they haven't replied. Maybe they thought I was taking the piss. Adidas and Nike have been helpful though.

Advertised as Paul Ifill's boots, pretty damn ugly if you ask me.

On a side note, boots for wide feet. I've always just had to have sore feet when playing, but any good boots for wide feet. I have heard predators, but do they do them in the cheaper versions?

have you tried adidas copas? i generally find nikes a bit narrow, and copas are far and away the most comfortable boot ive worn, played 90 minutes last weekend and didnt even have that 'get these f**kers off my feet' feeling that you often get after a game
