At Nike, we’re constantly evaluating our marketplace to best serve consumers through premium products, experiences, and services.
Starting 3 October 2023 00:00 NZDT, Nike.com online shopping and the Nike App will no longer be available in New Zealand.
We’ll continue to serve consumers in New Zealand our latest innovations at physical Nike-branded stores and our multi-brand retail partners. You can continue to shop your favourite Nike products by visiting a retail store near you.

Super, I’ll just nip down to my local retail store near me tomorrow morning. It’s only a 4-5 hour drive. Each way.

I must have missed the part when stopping online shopping is the same thing as having a trans woman advertise a brand of beer.

Fudge you for thinking the latter thing is bad, by the way.

Ramming liberal dribble down your throat since 2009
This forum needs less angst and more Kate Bush threads

Budweizer lost over $5Billion US Dollars and a lot of customers. So yes, that campaign was an epic fail, deal with it and accept it. It is a Fact. You might not like it, but you cannot rewrite history to justify your own position. The Customers spoke. Not that I'd ever touch any form of Bud beer. tried it once. It reminded me of Leopard Lager.

And Nike are under the gun too apparently.

I just don't understand the reasoning.

Okay, New Zealand doesn't have the scale to maintain massive distribution warehouses for the online shop... why not ship from Australia and make people wait longer? We're used to it.

Extremely frustrating considering most versions of their boots aren't available in  shops in NZ.

The Budwiser thing is the most ridiculous reasons to boycott a product. Absolutely mind boggling and stupid.

ELI5. Why is this an issue and what's the problem with using "multi-brand retail partners" like I assume Rebel Sport etc. which have online stores and shipping?

Sorry, what's woke and what does it mean in the context of Nike no longer operating an online retail store in NZ?
