I'll still be supporting Australia (love Jedinak) but I hope someone injures Grella and then he whinges about it so we can further point to his hypocrisy.

If Essien is fit I can't see Australia finishing any where other than bottom of their group

No Croat's so not sure who I will support 2nd. Possibly Slovenia. Not sure.
 
Hope the Convicts get trampled by big angry Germans and big angry Serbs and go home with their tails between their legs. Grella to be scythed by 2 Serb defenders and end up with broken anklle, fractured leg and ruptured scrotum.

Argentina.

Also my reasons for wanting Aus to do well are mostly selfish - hoping it will lift the game in this area of the world and ultimately help us too ;) Grella can lose an arm tho.. or better yet, off with his head!

my 2nd team is spain, supported them since i pulled them since i can remember, so a spain all white final = dream come true

2nd team: England, albeit half-heartedly (I'm no fan of Premiership footballers, but can't not support England anyhow), and aside from England I'll be cheering for the underdogs in every game.

Aussie: Would like to see them beat Germany but lose their next two matches to go out bittersweetly.

Most def England as my number 2 team but only just. NZ and England are pretty much even but NZ take it by a nose.

Its no longer a problem.

and no, I will not be supporting Australia. I am hoping we sneak a win or a draw and they wind up on zero points so I can remember the World Cup that when we outdid the Aussies.

it's a tough one for me, as I rate NZ as having more chances of advancing the group stage than Italy.
So I guess if both these teams get knocked out, maybe I'll go for Spain, but how coool would it be if both Italy and NZ made it? unlikely though.
NZ = needs more Brown
Italy = needs more Rossi
