90 mins in a 2-0 win over Wolves. McNeil scored plus a Wolves OG.

Huge result for Burnley. They are now 5 pts clear of Cardiff, who do have 2 games in hand. However next 2 games for Cardiff are Chelsea and Man City.

Fulham already relegated, and Huddersfield look certain for the drop - so it’s a fight to avoid that 3rd relegation spot.

Wood pretty much scored for that OG, his shot deflected off the post onto a defender's leg and in.

Oi Oi Edgecumbe... lets have a clean sheet

If Cardiff can nick that game then it's tough for burnley as they have a tough last 4 games

League goal #8 for the season, header from a corner to draw Burnley level at Bournemouth.

edit: 1-3 win for Burnley by the looks, massive result in the context of their dodgy last 4 fixtures.

Assist for Wood as well for the goal from Barnes. Dominant performance from Burnley and a good overall game from Wood.

League goal #9 for the season alert.

Free header from a corner to put Burnley 1-0 up against Cardiff in the first half.

He's been playing well too, after hitting the post from a metre out in the first minute.

Also managing to wind up faux hard man Gunnarson.

And then his strike partner Barnes is booked for kissing a Cardiff player. What a game.

And a double for Wood, who makes it into double figures for the season twice in a row.

21 goals from 68 Premier League appearances all up, if my brief Wiki scan is correct.

Great game at Stamford Bridge, already 2-2 after 23 minutes. Wood with the assist for their second goal.

According to a gutted Liverpool supporter I know (he stayed up to watch the Burnley v Man City game), Wood fluffed a one on one with the keeper.

Wood's chance to be a Liverpool hero is about 1.45 mins in. Not a great first touch.

Strange almost computer generated video.

One of eight players nominated for Premier League Player of the Month, alongside Salah, Hazard and co. Second time this year I believe, brilliant stuff

Looks like he was considering laying on another assist for Barnes and got it completely wrong.

Currently 2-0 down at Everton with just 20 minutes played. Could be a long night for the woodsman and his teammates

Wood finished the season (29 starts) with 10 EPL goals for Burnley. Same as last season though he played less games 2017/18, due to injury with only 20 starts.

Didn't score his first EPL goal this season until November. Back then Burnley & the boy from the Tron were struggling.

Article recently on Stuff saying Wood must be NZ's most under valued sportsperson.

Have to agree. When I was living in the UK 20 years ago (pre even Nelsen), would have seemed fanciful for a Kiwi to have scored 20 odd goals in the world's most high profile league.

Well done Chris Wood, you deserve better from the NZ sports media/public.

It's also nice to have a striker better than anything Australia can currently offer :)

Why?

Because I live in Australia and have heard them going on about Cahill for the last 10 years

When we are having dumb football related debates, yes.
