To be fair it can be frustrating when you can't score with your Wood

Just poke it in

That's only possible if you can get near the box in the first place

Maybe they wouldn't mind if he was better with his head

he's picking up the beef due to us having had some very successful strikers over the last few years.  Our management is abysmal though.

great stuff Woody. That's a good finish from a tight angle

Hopefully he'll get on well with Monk and develop his game. He's always seemed to score a reasonable number of goals in the championship

Wow - can't believe he is still only 24 - a lot of weight on a young guys shoulders - seems to have been around forever now.

Can't wait till he starts making Ice Cream too. Will really round out his development as a baller.

I guess Leeds fans probably think he's, again, the worst player in the world.

Leeds has bigger issues than its football team right now

Wood plays the full 90, as Leeds get beaten 0-1 at home to top of the table Huddersfield.

Adrian Mooy (ex-Melbourne City) scored the winner, and apparently he has been in great form for Huddersfield.

Of course like Rojas, Mooy's first stint in Europe (St Mirren?) was a dud - so a good pointer to the Hobbit that is possible to resurrect one's career in the A League, and then have a 2nd crack up north.

Mooy is EPL level. Even in international matches he looks as good as anyone (eg their recent game v England he was class). Exactly the box to box  midfield player we cant seem to produce  in NZ.

5 goals in 9 games... healthy return for someone so maligned by the fans

watched the match. Leeds is a very route one side. They would struggle to beat Adelaide of last year. Back four is slow. At least Wood's club is aligned to the AWs style of play. But you have to feel for a striker playing in that set up. Scoring goals for Leeds is like swatting flies..

GOAL! Leeds 1-0 Blackburn (Woods)

Blackburn concede another late goal, just as they did at Elland Road last week! Woods bundles one of the worst finishes of all time just over the line.

It was a terrible finish, TBF. Still, the goals will keep the pressure off.

6 from 10 isn't it? I'd take that from a striker any day.
