Be interesting to see if Clayton is with the squad in preseason.

Doubt it, he is on a no-fault suspension, presumes that means no football involvement until his name is cleared

The NRL no fault suspension allows players to train with their squad, I don't know if the A-League is different but I'd be surprised.

The reason for a no-fault  suspension is to stop a media circus surrounding the games, not to presume guilt.

Uli probably tried to lure in a few team mates to his racket. If lewis can prove no money changed hands then he would have a case for being not guilty

It's going to take him until his next appearance on September 12th to get through that.

He won't be playing this season. This will drag on, and on, and on.

Police also allege unsuccessful attempts were made to do the same thing during matches on April 20 and May 4.

They tried to commit yellow card offenses, but the refs were super inconsistent and refused to book them. Or there were alternative betting arrangements in place…

Gonna be an expensive legal bill.

But, the nature of arrest and quantity of evidence shows you that they don't take international cartels lightly.
