Makes the bench, but is an unused sub as Port Vale lose 1-2.

PV slip to 22nd, given Cheltenham Town beat Crocombe's Burton Albion.

It's still very tight between these 3 teams. 2 are almost certain to drop to League Two.

Penultimate round. Port Vale (22nd, 40 pts) travel to Jack Iredale's Bolton Wanderers (3rd). PV lose and Crocombe's Burton Albion (43 pts) win or draw, and Port Vale confirmed as relegated.

Bolton meanwhile still a chance of 2nd and automatic promotion. Odds against Vale, which might help Wynne get a longer deal if they go down to L2.

Edit - Wynne & Iredale both on respective benches. Welsh raised newish Socceroo Gethin Jones starts for Bolton.

Port Vale lost 2-0, and are now confirmed as relegated with one game left.

Iredale didn't get on for the winners, whilst Wynne who initially was listed on the bench dropped out of Soccerway's match day squad. Injured in the warmup?

Deklan is in negotiations to return for next season.

The short term signing for this campaign makes a bit more sense now - With the club likely positioning themselves for life in League Two and hence not committing to anything on a longer term basis until relegation or safety was confirmed.

No Wynne for PV. Reading Twitter doesn’t look like he’s at the club

No Wynne as Port Vale lose 3-2 at fellow L2 outfit, Barrow in the League Cup.

You'd almost certainly say any ex AW at Unattached FC would be a target signing for Auckland FC, but they look all sorted for full backs.

Good on him for leaving the comfort level of the USL, and trying his luck in the UK. Another League Two club might yet pick him up.

What's the bet he pops up in the LOI?

As noted in another thread, now with Green Gully SC in the Victorian NPL.

Maybe his old AWs & Colorado Rapids coach Huddo can get him a gig in Thailand.
