Feels like he’s definitely moving club at the end of the season. The only question is where. Lots of Celtic rumours. If a championship club came calling, though, that would be ideal.

Eli cruelly denied an early goal by VAR. A retreating team mate judged marginally offside.
Finishes 0-0. Just off at 86 mins, Soccerway says 'injury'. Hopefully nothing serious.
He's the main man this AWs window.

Just a bloody nose.

Askou: “Eli is fine. The kit man needs to make him a new shirt, I don’t think he can clean the one he has, because he had blood all over it. He got caught, got his nose in the way of someone and that’s what happens".

Just full game in a 2-3 loss. He had the assist for the late 2nd goal.

Motherwell (4th) 3 losses & a draw in their last 4 matches. Only 3 points now ahead of Hibs (5th). Top 4 teams get a European spot.

Full game Just in a 3-1 defeat.
Devlin full match for league leaders Hearts

Some big moments in this game, which seemed to have a lot of tension, as Hearts look to break the OId Firm duopoly.

Maswanhise butchered a big chance to put Motherwell up 2-1 in  the 2nd half. Then a contentious pen for Hearts and they get a 3rd on the break.

Gonna be an exciting few weeks now to end the SPL season. Good luck Scrappy Doo.

Gustaf Grauers, agent of Eli Just: “I can confirm that there is interest in Elijah without going into specifics but he remains fully focused on Motherwell and to finish the season strong and then for the upcoming World Cup with New Zealand.”

The Celtic and Rangers blogs continue to spam Eli Just transfer news, though it probably depends on what MFC manager Jens Berthel Askou does before other dominoes begin to fall. He’s got five more games to add a few more highlights to his reel first.

Eli off at 72 mins (2-2), as Motherwell win 3-2 at Ibrox.

Motherwell's fans enjoying the win. Quiet game maybe this one for Just but his team scored some nice goals. Loss a big blow to Rangers's title hopes

Motherwell now looking for for 4th spot, 6 pts ahead of Hibs (5th).

Hearts (1st) 3 pts ahead of Celtic (2nd) & 4 pts ahead of Rangers (3rd).

Would be massive if Eli won this award. Though I'm guessing it will be one of the 2 guys from Hearts.

Hearts forwards Claudio Braga and Lawrence Shankland and Motherwell attackers Elijah Just and Tawanda Maswanhise are the four candidates for PFA Scotland's Premiership player of the year award.

A trip for the Kiwi and the Zimbawean to Glasgow.
Maswanhise has been in the UK since the age of 8-9 (years at Leicester City's Academy), hence the accent.
About 6.40 mins in the video, Hearts v Motherwell is a funny little passage where Scrappy Doo and Eli come together. Devlin talking non stop as usual!

Adored by his own and admired by everyone 🇳🇿

Elijah Just took a huge risk coming to Scotland as he looked to kickstart his career ahead of the World Cup. Almost a year later, the risk has paid off, with the Kiwi widely recognised as one of the best in the country. pic.twitter.com/s5g69dFb8j

Take away from that 10 min video, is that's it's been a hugely enjoyable season for Just, and one that might not be repeated at Motherwell for awhile. Wherever he goes from here in his career he will always be hoping to have another season like this. Talks a lot about the fun of playing attacking possession based football, in a league where there is alot of more route one direct type stuff.

For the type of smaller club that Motherwell are, they may lose a number of players (had 5 named in SPL team of the season), and their coach. So yeah enjoy it why you can.

Lets hope Baze is working on a plan to make the most of a Just, Wood, McCowatt, Thomas or whoever attacking combo.

Some journo should hunt down Declan for a pre WC chat and his thoughts. The Mad Hatter should have 3-4 or more ex Ole grads starting (Eli, McC, Thomas & Marko). Garbett off the pine. I'd be interested on Edge's less wacky thoughts on how the AWs could best succeed at the big dance.

The SPL really has been a slow motion drag race! It feels like it’s been neck and neck for months. Going to be a tight finish.  As well as Motherwell, with their impressive season, Hearts have to play Rangers and Celtic one more time, as well as Falkirk in their last 4 games.

Motherwell who should finish 4th, to have a big say in the SPL title race next few games.
They first play away at Hearts (1st, 76 pts) and then host Celtic (2nd, 73 pts).

Trip to Hibs (5th) in their final game. 3 matches in a week from this weekend. You sense will be some SPL drama next week.

41 seasons of Old Firm dominance to end?
Aberdeen was the last team outside the Celtic and Rangers to win the Scottish top flight, doing so in the 1984–85 season under manager Sir Alex Ferguson

Another awards night in Scotland, but no cigar for Eli this time. Still great effort to be in the final 4.

Just a yellow and 86 mins in a 1-1 draw.

Hearts 4 pts clear of Celtic, but the Hoops a game in hand.

Highlights. Just doesn't feature too much apart from an early game cross, that a team mate heads on target but great save Hearts GK.
Big big VAR moment early 2nd half. Hearts denied a pen, that many refs would have given. Tense encounter re the SPL title race.

And next up Motherwell play…Celtic! Of the 4 points behind and a game in hand. Chance to have a big say in how it all pans out…

hopefully hearts win as it'll be comical if Celtic win the league after having their worst seasons in decades.

Thursday morning.
Exciting Penultimate Round.
Motherwell (4th) host Celtic (2nd, 76 pts). Whilst Hearts (1st, 77 pts) host Falkirk.

Motherwell beat Celtic, plus Hearts win, and the SPL will have it's first non Old Firm champion in many years.

https://us.soccerway.com/game/celtic-QFKRRD8M/motherwell-YuW7ZfMM/?mid=r9Uw48Xj

In the final round Celtic host Hearts. I'm sure the Edinburgh side would much rather go to Parkhead as Champions elect, rather than needing a result.
Here's hoping Motherwell can do them a massive favour.

Drama in the SPL

Hoops a late 99th penalty winner at Motherwell for 3-2 victory

Agony for Hearts fans

Just off at 88 mins (2-2).

Hearts 3 Falkirk 0

Hearts will visit Celtic on the weekend with a 1 point lead!

Title defining decision.

Celtic would have had to beat Hearts by six goals in the last game if it wasn’t for that.

Now just a win required.

Auckland will rise once more

And it was a VAR referral too.

Who knows? Maybe Celtic pressuring you IS a bit scary in Scotland…

More Celtic fans (7,500) than Motherwell fans in Fir Park apparently for this one.
Total capacity is only 13,677. Hoops fans invading the pitch when the pen went in.
So yeah the ref would have felt the pressure
