Motherwell away to Hibs final game of the season (11:30pm Saturday kickoff NZT).

Big game with Motherwell currently fourth, 1 point ahead of Hibs with a place in the second qualifying round of the Conference League on the line. Motherwell win or draw (or Celtic win in the Scottish Cup final against Dunfermline next weekend) gets European football for them (and Eli if he is not moved in the summer window) next season.

Just starts as does Martin Boyle for Hibs.

Edit - Just off at 72 mins (1-0) in a 1-0 win.

Motherwell finish 4th, and so qualify for UEFA Conference League. Is that enough to keep Eli at the club? Doubtful.

Elsewhere Celtic beat Hearts 3-1, which really sucks. 1-1 until 88 mins.
Hearts after leading the SPL race for sooo long, finish 2 pts behind the Hoops.

McInnes did shake hands with O’Neill, who later in the afternoon stood in the goal that Osmand and Maeda had scored in to face penalties from his grandchildren, but you can guarantee Hearts will have something to say about this whole farce in the next 24 hours.

They deserved so much more from this season than being chased out of town, battered and bruised. It was hard enough dealing with Wednesday night, when a hugely contentious VAR decision in Motherwell changed the course of the title race, and no amount of plaudits will help them get over this day.

Still think (hope) he will follow Askou to Toulouse, which would be huge for him, considering not that long ago he was working away in the danish second division (on loan in Austria second division)……. Abit like OPP and his rise up the ranks

Just said on the eve of the tournament in San Diego he felt he had arrived at the World Cup at the peak of his powers after finally finding his feet at club level, but even he could not have predicted the impact he would have on football’s biggest stage.

The 1.74m midfielder was a revelation for the All Whites and his performances did not go unnoticed. Moments after the final whistle against Belgium, defender Brandon Mechele asked to swap shirts with Just.

Just said his first goal against Iran, which gave the All Whites an early lead, was his favourite moment of the tournament.

Chris Wood chested the ball into his path before Just flicked it up with his left foot and volleyed home with his weaker right.

“Coming in we struggled against Haiti and had a good defensive performance against England but no goals.

“You’re not really sure what is going to happen and there’s always a possibility things get even worse for us, so to get that first goal at the big stadium, on the big occasion, seeing all my team-mates all so happy, that is my moment of the tournament.

I hope he follows his coach to Toulouse. He’s almost certain to get game time with a coach who knows his abilities. The EPL is a pipe dream. All of the clubs have huge rosters and loan out dozens of players every season. Just needs to play, not sit on the bench or be constantly loaned out. Moving to a mid table Ligue 1 club would be ideal IMO. It’s a great league for developing talent. Plus Toulouse is a lovely city with a good fan base and the club has wealthy ambitious owners.

Yep, I guess money can be a deciding factor but from what I’ve seen of Just he appears to be one of our more intelligent players and has been around the traps long enough to know the score.

Hope he follows his Manager.

Auckland will rise once more

He has talked about how his career was struggling along until he reunited with Askou who laid out that Motherwell were going to play an exciting possession game totally suiting Eli. The right manager at the right time
