Gets 73 mins (off at 1-2) in a 1-3 loss.
So Dons miss out on the Europa League proper, and drop into the UEFA Conference League.

Full game McGarry in a 0-2 loss.
36 yr old Adam Le Fronde (37 in December) off the bench for Hib's first goal. Both their goals came from 2nd half subs.

Aussie summary.
Lewis Miller, James Jeggo & Martin Boyle all with full games for Hibs.

A glowing endorsement from James McGarry for former gaffer Nick Montgomery, as his appointment to the vacant Hibs job must surely be moving towards an announcement.

Mcgarry starts.
Socceroos & fellow ex ALM alumini - Devlin, Rowles & Atkinson all start for Hearts. Nieuwenhof on the pine.

Feel for mcgarry, our squad is highly unbalanced but he’s been showing his frailties at the defensive side of his game. That said, the man in charge wasn’t who I wanted and our club went down the cheap option so I’m not sure he’s being able to show what he can do going forward enough. Frankfurt up next, yikes.

He got 57 mins (0-1) in a 0-2 loss to Hearts. All 4 Aussies with game time for the Edinburgh club.

Playing a genuine LWB with licence to stay high and drift inside at times or even get into the box late really worked well for him at CC. He’s never been flawless defender, but the reason he’s overseas is that he shone further forward.

We’re having a bit of a reset defence wise, so I’d expect his appearances to be centred on who we’re playing (I really hope so). Defence for the eintracht game was the best it’s been this season so far, which isn’t saying much, but there was potential. He was probably a largely contributing factor to the loss of the first goal  against hearts as he stood off and invited pressure (he was unlucky the goal came off him but was down to standing off). Don’t think Ross county should be a game where he starts, but I suspect he might.

Taken off at 6 mins (hopefully nothing serious) as Dons thrash Ross County 4-0.

The game’s first real incident came with James McGarry pulling up injured with what looked like a thigh or hamstring problem after five minutes.

Dons win 2-1, and into a semi final against Hibs.

No McGarry, and I can't yet find any news on the severity of his weekend injury.

Sad for mcgarry but you would hope that the move made by bindon and the Fulham player, would add as some inspiration to him to also choose nz.

If we can get those 3 semi nailed in their allegiance, this window would have been worthwhile irrespective of results

Auckland will rise once more

McGarry gone for 4-6 weeks.

So definitely out of October's international window and cutting it fine for a November return too.

Really unlucky for the lad. Hope he recovers well.

Can we call up a replacement? Maybe Deklan Wynne or FDV?

Not just a player sent off, a rat that defected to them. Honestly, couldn't have picked a better topping to a better day :D Was there when we first won at snake mountain in 2017, we hadn't won there in 26 years. The feeling is epic, know there'll be a few sore heads today!
Feel for McGarry, our form has been picking up since his injury, but I don't think it's because of him.

So fresh off a 3-1 win at Ibrox, Aberdeen only manage a 1-1 with the Finnish champions.

Dons lead 2-0 until the 73rd min, and blow it going on to lose 2-3.
Elsewhere Eintracht Frankfurt over power Finnish champs HJK (showing where league in Finland sits), 6-0.

PAOK on 9 pts, Frankfurt 6pts, Dons & HJK a pt each after 3 rounds.
