Wow looks like he's lost some of his magic since his move.  I guess he's playing for a stronger team, so the competition will be more fierce there.  Hopefully he settles in well and starts next season with a hiss and a roar.

Not required off the bench as Sundowns beat Bidwest 2-0.

With 4 games left in the PSL season, Sundowns have a 6 point league lead over Orlando Pirates (they dropped points with a draw midweek).

Not required off the bench as Sundowns beat Golden Arrows 1-0.

With 3 games left in the PSL season, Sundowns still have a 6 point league lead over Orlando Pirates (who also won on Sunday).

Sundowns have a busy run of games coming up. Two (1 cup & 1 PSL) tough games against 3rd placed Maritzburg, and another PSL game against Ajax Cape Town, who are in a desperate dogfight now with Supersport (Brockie's old club) to avoid a relegation playoff series.

This all in a week.

Brockie should therefore get some game time amongst that, and hopefully break his goal duck.

10 men Sundowns concede 2 goals late to lose Cup semi against Maritzburg 3-1.

Brockie gets a few minutes off the bench at match end.

Have PSL game midweek next against same opposition.

Some shocking scenes post other Cup semi, with Kaizer Chiefs fans rioting.

Sundowns draw verus Maritzburg 2-2 away. Big game. Concede a late 2nd goal at 87 mins. Brockie not required off the bench.

With 2 games left in the PSL season, Mamedlodi now have a 4 point league lead over Orlando Pirates (who beat Bidwest 4-0).

So Sundowns now only need 3 points from their last 2 games to clinch the title.

They host Ajax Cape Town this weekend. Ajax in a relegation dogfight with Supersport. So if Brockie scored a winner against Ajax he would be a hero at both his current & former clubs.

looks like this may prove to be a bad decision by Brocks.  Hope the Rand is worth it.

Could be one of those raids to at least get rid of an opposition threat

He also joined part-way through the season, so hopefully next season it'll be a different story.  But it must be disappointing for him to have moved to a big club and to be struggling to get any meaningful game time.

Brockie a few token mins off the bench as Sundowns clinch title with 3-1 win.

Pirates lose 0-1.

I’m sure Brocks is only too aware that he hardly played a role in the league win.

I remember Chris Wood awkwardly celebrating on the pitch with his team mates, with Leicester starving off EPL relegation a few years back. He’d been out on loan most of the season.

Sundowns draw 1-1 with Moroccan side Wydad Casablanca in the CAF Champions League.

Brockie an unused sub. In fact Sundowns didn't make one sub all game. They had 67% possession. So dominate, only score one goal which was an OG at 3 mins - and still don't give Brockie a go.

CAF Champions League breaks for World Cup, ie no games from mid May to mid July.

Given he's hardly played lately, I'd expect Brockie to make himself available for India, if picked.

As PSL title is already wrapped Sundowns unsurprisingly rest some of their regular starters, and Brockie gets a run against Bloem Celtic. Hopefully can break his scoring duck.

Brockie gets 85 mins in a 0-0 draw.

Sundowns finish season as league winners and 5 pts ahead of Orlando Pirates in 2nd.

Supersport who faced possible relegation a few weeks ago, finish 11th.

Barcelona will be playing an international club friendly against Mamelodi on Wednesday May 16th (SA time). Hopefully Brockstar can get some game time for what would surely be a career highlight.

Brockie gets subbed on at 91mins, as Sundowns lose 1-3 to some team called Barcelona.

No doubt Soccer City in Soweto was packed to the gunnels.

Bit of an exhibition match with the La Liga champs making no less than 11 changes at HT. A further change at 74 mins, when Lionel got a run. No doubt that got a roar from the crowd.

Hopefully Brocks got a few photos.

As much as people may rip him for not scoring since joining Sundowns, he's getting some amazing experiences like training with Usain Bolt, playing in the African champions league and now playing against Barcelona.

The CAF Champions League certainly gives Brockie a few interesting excursions. Sundowns next week are off to Conakry, Guinea to play against Horoya. Also went there last year with Supersport.

Guinea - Ebola, military coups, poverty, rampant corruption. Makes travelling to the OFC countries a walk in the park.

Very very different to matching up to the superstars of Messi & co.

No minutes for Brockie off the bench as Sundowns draw 2-2 with Horoya in the CAF Champions League in Conakry, Guinea.

After 2 games and 2 draws, Sundowns sit 3rd in the group.

CAF Champions League reconvenes in 2 months (mid July).

Be interesting to see if Brockie is picked for AWs in India.

He's coming off a very light playing load last few months, and squad could do with a bit of experience.

Hasn't had an offseason in three years, so fair enough that he has decided to take a break, especially when he needs a big pre-season.

Looks like Shell Helix Cup is some sort of South African pre season tourney.

Earlier in the week, he was an unused sub in Togo, as Sundowns lost 1-0 to Togo Port in the CAF Champions League.

Earns some air miles Brocks.

Sundowns lose 0-1 away in CCL to Wydad Casablanca.

That may have knocked them out of Champions League?

Brockie not required off the bench.

54 mins in 0-0 draw verus Highland Park in PSL.

At 50 mins Sundowns had a player sent off, so possibly a necessary tactical switch.

Starts and is subbed after 54 minutes as Sundowns draw 0-0 with Horoya (Guinea), in African Champions League.

Sundowns needed to win (by 2 goals?) to make next round, so their Champions League campaign is over.

Finish on 6 pts. Horoya on 9 pts & Casablanca on 12 pts go through to next round.

Brockie's scoring duck continues.

Not required off the bench as Sundowns lose 8C Cup on pens to Cape Town City.

Game finished 1-0, and therefore 1-1 on aggregate before going to pens.

Not required off the bench in a 3-3 draw verus Amazulu.

Likewise Tade stays on the pine for Amazulu.

Sundowns draw 1-1 with top of the table Bidwest.

No Brockie in match day squad.

FYI - Tade scores his 2nd PSL goal against Orlando Pirates.

Seems to be either an unused sub or not even in the match day squad all together. Worth a short loan to Welly? You can't tell me it would be wasting squad places, we're still nowhere near a full team

At last!

Breaks his long scoring duck as Sundowns beat Free State Stars 3-1.

Brockie with the first goal at 12 mins. Sundowns are up 3-0 by 27 mins, as Uruguayan Sirino bags an early double.

Big relief for Brocks no doubt.
