RECAP | Wellsmore cuts back for Leck on 15 yards to bang home a well struck first time finish to cap off a well-constructed build-up.

Awesome NYL grand final and win for Brisbane Roar. Both Oliver Duncan and Emlyn Wellsmore have been key players in this successful Brisbane Roar Youth team. Duncan's work rate in midfield is exceptional, he gets stuck in winning the ball and fouls for his team as well as putting away goals when needed. Wellsmore is a stoic defender and looked very composed in this game as Western Sydney Wanderers sent wave upon wave of attack down the flanks at the Brisbane Roar defence. Wellsmore was instrumental in the second Roar goal producing a very composed and clinical assist. One of several he's constructed this year in the NYL.
Team Wellington dealt another massive blow with Hamish Watson joining Melbourne Knights in the NPL. Decent move for him though.

"Massive blow"
Emphasis on the massive. With Nati, Allen, Gus we're covered..

MKFC 1 - 1 AMSC#itsyourclub #mkfc
2 more goals for Watto in a 2-0 win over Bentleigh. I think thats 5 goals (2 of them pens) in 4 games for him now.
I honestly always thought Watson could have been a decent player for us in a different system, so I am glad to see him doing so well over there.
One area of his game he really needed to work on though was the timing of his runs, always offside.
Patrick Izett scores twice for Western Pride last night in a 4-2 win
Another goal by Watto in a 0-2 win

The free kick is taken low and bobbles in the box, falling to Watson who puts it behind Connell. The prolific striker strikes again for the Knights!

Another Kiwi prolific striker. Love it.
Back on play-by-play duties in #NPLVIC today for @EasternLionsSC v @BrunswickCitySC with @DFS_AUS colleague @JoelFruch. A 1-1 finish in the end, with the day's action highlighted by a Thomas Biss peach to open the scoring for the Lions. pic.twitter.com/O0ufp3wOfZ

Looks like Oliver Duncan has left the Roar to join Brisbane City. He was on the cusp of the first team during pre-season, so strange to see him cut loose. Didn't make the u20's training camp squad either.
Can add James Pendrigh and Brock Messenger to this who both will be with Lambton Jaffas in the Northern NSW NPL.
Full time and Knights take the three points home!!! A huge second half sees the Knights come down from a one goal deficit to win the game 3-1. Goals from Watson, Ofli and Albano. #itsyourclub #mkfc pic.twitter.com/LMQ0YoPRk8

Andre de Jong has left Hakoah and has joined Apia Leichardt
Watson gets the equalizing header here at around 1.59. End up winning 2-1
Mohamed Awad to Melbourne Knights.

Good to see Lewis Miccio making an impact at NSW NPL level. Eligible for New Zealand and Australia so could be a future A-League prospect and expect will be in NZ under-23 contention https://t.co/tyTgLAJhjE
