Edit - Linder actually signed a short term senior deal for a friendly against Wrexham on the weekend. Ryan Reynolds of course is a Vancouver native.

Portland II have a game in California tomorrow verus San Jose Earthquakes II. Probably too early for Surman especially with the travel. But they do host Austin II later this week, when he could maybe get some mins.

LC looking good to win the USL Eastern Conference, only 1 point ahead of  Charleston Battery, but LC with 2 games in hand.

Still no Riley Bidois for Loudoun, who lose 3-1 at Oakland. Pity about his hammy injury at the Olympics.

Collier on at 60 mins (1-1) in a 1-3 loss for Indy Eleven. Musa an unused sub.

Senior team restart their MLS season this weekend against LAFC. Be interesting to see if any of the youngsters are in the senior match day squad.

Seems Auckland are looking for another experienced CB (Nikko Boxall trialling), wonder if they have reached out to Adams. Won't make the AWs from the USL.

Herdman with Caps II 2nd goal in a 2-2 draw. Him & Linder both with full games.
Most of the action late on, with 3 goals scored post 84 mins.

So onto the MLS Next Pro pen shootouts they have. Both NZ U20 reps were pen takers and converted their spot kicks. Caps II winning ths shootout 7-6.


Whitecaps MLS team have a midweek Canadian Championship tie against Moses Dyer's new CPL club Pacific (from Vancouver Island). A chance either Linder or Herdman could make the bench for that game, as the Whitecaps juggle their MLS workloads.

Adams full game for Louisville City, who win a 6-4 goal fest at North Carolina. Adams an oggie, but must be a chance of a callup for the AWs if Bindon is ruled out.

Potential Kiwi derby. Louisville City (1st in the East) host Loudoun (8th).

Hopefully Riley Bidois not far away from a return for Loudoun. Been 6 weeks since his hammy injury in France.  He has a two year contract with an option for the 2026 season. Might spend the NZ summer training at Albany with his brother.
