true, but he might be their LM/LW solution rather than their LB/LWB solution, I dont know what the rest of their left side looks like other than Libby though,.

Naive question - Is the LWB the right position for Libby, given his injuries and Phil Parkinson's system? Wonder if this is the root cause of his woes since moving to the championship. I know he played LWB for Empoli towards the end of his time there, but that is a different league and I feel like he's a couple yards short of pace now. Still a fine player when he's on the field, but wondering if he would be better suited to a 4 at the back setup at this stage?

Birmingham win 2-1. Wrexham were all over them at one stage but just could not finish their chances.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Wrexham had a couple of mutual terminations in the last few days. Gotta wonder if it could be heading the same way for Libby the longer he is unavailable.
Let's see if he is in the squad tomorrow morning

No Libby for Wrexham as they travel to Millwall.
Crocs keeps his spot in goal for the hosts.

Wrexham's management must be looking at Libby's injury history pretty seriously now, terminating contracts as the xfr window end gets close, they'll need him to be fit and ready for the rest of the campaign if he stays but his fitness is a mssive questionmark right now.
Queenslander 3x a year.

No. He was unusual in how little he was injured tbh.

Can Libby make an appearance for the Welsh derby?
Unlikely. Swans host Wrexham.

The Phoenix should try to get him on loan. Could be ready by October. Play him left of Rufer like Empoli did a bit. Or have LKH move to substitute centre back.

Is no way Libby would be interested in an ALM return currently. He’s having a frustrating time, but eventually these injuries will pass
The Nix have McGarry anyway

Even Singh didn't want to continue with us. Libby would get a gig in Europe somewhere if he left Wrexham, barring that there is the MLS too.

Wrexham draw 1-1 with Burnley.
New LWB Ekomie having an amazing start in Wales. His 2nd goal in only 3 games (2 starts).
That's going to make it tougher for Libby when he is finally fit.

Really so you know Singh turned down a better offer from the Phoenix to stay in Europe for lesser money. Gotta love the speculation of some based on nothing.

Cacace not named in the Wrexham squad registered with EFL. However, Wrexham have named only 21 of 25 allowed, so may be added later. Suggests he could be a wee way off injury-wise and/or Wrexham may look to allow him to move elsewhere - there are still a few windows open.
I know, I know, its serious!

Very brief game highlights.
Ekomie obviously a wing back who likes to get very forward.

All White Liberato Cacace has been ‘really unlucky’, says Wrexham manager
All Whites defender Liberato Cacace is being given extra recovery time as he and his Wrexham club try to end a frustrating sequence of injury setbacks.
Cacace (25) has yet to make a competitive appearance this season after managing only 13 games across all competitions during his first Wrexham campaign.
Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson says the club are taking a cautious approach after investigating the reasons behind Cacace’s recurring muscle problems.
“He’s a great lad; he’s honest. He’s just been really, really unlucky and sometimes pushed himself too quickly after an injury,” Parkinson told his pre-match media conference ahead of Wrexham’s league match against Burnley on Wednesday (NZT).
“He’s getting there, but we’ve just got to be patient.”
Cacace joined the Welsh club from Italian Serie A side Empoli last year but suffered four injury setbacks during his debut English Championship season.
Parkinson said Cacace had arrived from Empoli without any significant injury history, making his recent problems particularly frustrating.
“The intensity level is greater than Serie A in a lot of the games,” Parkinson said.
“The bottom line is he has had a few muscle injuries, so we need to now give him plenty of time.
“Make sure he’s got the right amount of time training to give him the best chance of being a part of it.”
Cacace recovered in time from last season’s injuries to start all three of New Zealand’s matches at the FIFA Men’s World Cup and he then completed Wrexham’s United States pre-season tour.
However, another fitness problem ruled him out of this season’s opener against Middlesbrough, and he has subsequently missed their opening five Championship matches.
Cacace was unavailable for Wrexham’s 1-1 Championship draw against Burnley.

Those are on him, happened last year, but poor lad. With everything he’s dealing/dealt with, I hope he’s doing okay mentally.

Also, after chatting to a contact who is close to Libby and his family about it, they told me that apparently his father had a history of speeding and picking up tickets.
